Wednesday 20th July 2011
Kick Off : 19.00 (local time)
CenturyLink Field, Seattle.
Capacity: 67,000.

Second game of pre-season. Predictions, line-ups, etc.

What time would it be in the Uk?

I watched one Sounders game last season. It was all very underwhelming until the Sounders made a substitution with about 20-25 mins. to go. They send in this youngster who at the time was on loan from an Argentine lower league club, Miguel Montano. He made a real impression on me, and I have loosely been following him ever since, but nothing is happening. It will be interesting to see how, and if, he has developed at all. He was lightning fast, made intelligent runs, and could pass accurately in every direction from his body. Sideways, backwards what have you. It didn't matter how much he was under pressure, he made the right decision. Ofcourse it might have been the one good match he ever played, and if he's that good, why did he start on the bench. I don't know, he caught my eye that night!

Seattle have a decent mid-field this year. Horrifyingly poor strikers.

Should be a fantastic atmosphere. I'm flying up for this one.

De Gea and Jones will join the squad but won't play, Evra might have some involvement

I'd like to see Park get a start after his 20 minutes yesterday. Hope to see the youth brought in. Like to see Rooney and Macheda starting together - Owen given another solid half.

I hope the likes of Anderson, Owen, Macheda keep getting minutes because the more they play, the more quality performances they produce.

With Seattle only 3 hours to the south, how frustrating is it that my passport hasn't arrived in the mail? Or that we even need a passport?

Seattle is a very nice city, one of my favourite places to go in the US, but haven't been there for a few years...

It's the surrounding area that blows me away. the sound, the olympics, the cascades, Mount Rainier. Shame it's a city that nature is going to really mess up one day. I love cycling on the nature trails and kayaking there, simply stunning

Clarification for people in the UK.

This game will be shown live on MUTV. It kicks off at 03.00hrs BST on 21/07/11.

Out of interest are Jones, Smalling Welbeck and Cleverley part of the squad for the tour. I know it would be simple to find out but I thought they might be rested after the under 21 tournament. Missed the first game other than the brief reports on the CAFE. Would really like to see Welbeck and Cleveley gets some games as I think both are ready for the first team squad.

Jones flew out yesterday didn't he?
No idea on the other two mind

All English players flew out yesterday, de Gea is expected to be in Seattle on Sunday.

None of them will play against Sounders, though.

Got work at 6, usually up at 4. Do I get up an hour earlier and watch this or just catch the second half?

Why is there huge gaps between the friendlies we're playing?! Riverpoor have already played 2!

Not in work until Wednesday evening, will watch it while working my way through 4 cups on bovril.
