Manchester City v Manchester United

I love Manchester United.

Our youth is very special.

Our fighting spirit was still evident.

One more little tweak, I feel and we'll really situate ourselves well for the coming years.

Thank you for the joy lads. What a game! I'm off now to play with my daughter now. Great day today

Carrick now needs to take a back seat for a while. His absence brought so much energy it was unreal. Have not seen us play like this in a long long time. I think I might have to go back to mid 90s real. We were pressuring, pressing, passing, keeping possession, showing grit. We had it all

Cracking comeback from United and a very good second half performance with a deluge of youngsters completing the game.

Let's get one thing straight though, United also played very well in the first half and the one notable improvement was improved end product in the second, the approach play, one touch play, commitment and flair and creativty were very similar. Only difference is City scored two goals against the run of play while second half they did not. We should have won more emphatically.

Very encouraging from Anderson, Welbeck, Smalling, Jones, Cleverly and Evans.

Also special mention to Nani. Matchwinning contributions and well on his way to being one of the best in Europe.

Carrick off and suddenly the midfield had energy and zip about it.

Hmmmm..... Rio wasn't too brilliant either.

Jones, Cleverly, Welbeck and in particular Smalling were excellent!

Haha-no sky, internet or radio-my only way of following this game has been this thread on my phone. Utterly hilarious

Are you like 12 or 13?

Get a grip. Pathetic if an internet comment winds you up that much.

If you're going to post ridiculous comments at 2-0 down prepare for the backlash.

it's funny, at half time I was thinking, ok, we're 2 down but the best team.

It's was almost a RAWK post of, how can a loss be a win. But there again, we're united, for us a Win is a WIN

Won't see many better matches than this upcoming season. Great performance.

Saw the score just after half time and thought FFs not again but the character shown by the team is brilliant coming back after being 2 - 0 down is no easy feat when you look at the players in the ranks of City, suddenly ive got a warm feeling for this season it could turn out to be fun. The new players and young players will still need a little time to properly gel but when they do we will be laughing.

Red Nev commenting on the average age being 22. Blatantly lurking on the caf'.

Hi Gaz.

One things for sure, the rest of the league's managers are pissed off at City something fierce for giving our kids all this confidence heading into the season.
