Ive said it before and ill say it again, they are just nothing more than scumbag criminals so its time some people stopped trying to understand their motives or make excuses for them. They are opportunistic thieves.

I've been watching it for 2 days straight, hes been live in handsworth west brom and city centre. He helped a copper catch a couple of youths today by letting him jump in his car and catching em.

In the '80s the rumour went round that it would start on Meadow st, which was popular at the time. Still a few pubs open there, more than most streets now they've lost half their pubs anyway.

BBC says 76 coppers have left Lancashire to go to London. That'll be at least a dozen from Preston then. feck London, bring 'em back.
 
Have we ever had a bigger bunch of clowns as politicians? Watching them spool onto Newsnight... Cameron, Milliband, BoJo, Gove, Harman, kinell what a bunch of embarrassing gimps.

I still can't believe he's PM... he's so sixth form. And Milliband's not even in long trousers yet.
 
feck Sky & BBC, Sangat providing great coverage. That guy is a terrific presenter and talking alot of sense spreading a message of humanity - Boris needs to take note.
 
yes its embarrassing - politicians younger than me and all of them spouting the cliches i have heard for years - dont they realise we have more experience of life than them

and unlike them i live with the "yoof" they despise - even taught some of them

Yep, few shops smashed in Granby Street & the cultural quarter but nothing like the numbers seen in other cities. The police largely seem to have it under control here at the moment thankfully.

There is a movement for people to gather at the clock tower in town tomorrow night and defend the city but many seem to be pointing out that this is not a good idea.
 
I haven't seen any reporter doing what sangat tv is doing. For any of you that don't know sangat tv is a small local sikh channel reporting around birmingham promoting peace. BBC SKY CNN and other channels are taking their footage because they are getting good stuff.

I didn't catch who it was but watching Sky News half an hour ago there was some middle to upper class bint on there throwing around sweeping statements such as "I bet none of these youths have their fathers around" and "they've grown up on council estates with nothing to do, my grandchildren are able to get out and stretch their legs and thats important".

As Geebs mentioned in that post above, it's not a class or a race thing, it's just a bunch of opportunistic pricks who are nothing but criminals. I'm sure 90% of them would be disgusted if they saw an isolated incident of someone breaking into or torching a shop, when mob rules take over it's a different story.
