I'm not digging this role Rooney's playing today. He's our best player and we've got him in a position where scholes played in his latter stages of his career just in front of the defence.

His positioning has been good I'd say but then he gets tangled up and loses the ball (obviously doesn't chase after it much either) or he has a soft shot at goal. He had a great chance to score from a header but it was too soft and the keeper got to it even though it was low and in the corner.
