Pretty solid performance. Just a bit dull to be honest. Since the City loss we've been playing pretty boring football, spending most of our time passing the ball between the CB's and central midfielders. Come on United!! Let's play with a bit more endeavor!
Poor performance but at least we're winning. Tempo is too slow and we've not been able to create any chances. Nani needs to play better and Giggs has to be less wasteful.
Early season form and he'd have been all over that like a fly on shit. I thought he looked a bit slow to get to the ball from where he was. Admittedly it wasn't a fantastically hit pass.
Like watching England still today.

Carricks done a good job infront of the defence and back 4 have generally kept their shape well. Passing a bit sloppy at times, especially from Nani and Giggs is my only gripe.
I'd expect the game to open up a bit further in the second half and for us to get another 1 or 2 goals. A typical United European performance I guess. Considerin swanseas home form we've done pretty well. First goal they've conceded at home since February let's not forget.

Despite leading 1-0 the general performance has been average.Carrick has been good but the likes of Rooney,Nani,Park should do better.
I'm amazed by the lethargic movement up front, apart from Hernandez who seems to run all the time, it's not enough.

Problem with Nani is that he's too focused on trying to cut in the centre or you know, trying to be more involved in the game when clearly its usually his crossing that has always got the plaudits from RW.
He should start getting his act straight.

Carrick and Giggs' return to something like the form we saw from both during last season's run in has been a Godsend. We have been infinitely better than we were before the international break in midfield and by and large its been a sturdy performance. Nani seems unusually off colour, especially in light of his midweek performance but no doubt now that I've said that he'll go and blast one in from 20 odd yards, whilst Vida in possession has been quite the liability but everyone else seems to have been on it. 1-0 is a decent score so far but we really should capitalise on the possession we're enjoying and put the game beyond doubt.

I'd take poor sceond half performance for that 1-0 and hope that the next game is a lot better.

Yeah, they've looked threatening, but they haven't been able to take their chance.. I suspect they'll have one more chance in the second half. Definitely need that second goal.

Nani's just back from an international. Giggs hasn't played in an age.
How is it a poor performance? We're dominating possession and our passing is pretty good.
We could do with upping the tempo and getting a second but I'd hardly call it a poor performance.
No point being all cavalier, we're in the lead, no point taking the risk of conceding trying to force the issue.
