Manchester United vs. Crystal Palace

I don't think that's the point. The point is that you made a silly comment about someone who has a record, and that without football they are bound to a life of crime. A few posters on here merely pointed out that it's a stupid thing to say because it's based on a hypothetical / assumption.

I don't care if you have no sympathy for criminals. That had nothing to do with your comment

How is it a silly comment? Now he's a footballer, he'll be rich, famous, constantly watched and now most likely mentored.
It's not at all far fetched to suggest that had he not become a footballer he'd likely have carried on his criminal past (which isn't really past anyway).

How about a bit of realism.

Playing for Manchester United does not make you a good player. Saying that these players should be beating Palace sounds OK when you consider we're playing a Championship mid-table side, but I'm really not sure that some of our second string are as good as they should be, and are over-estimated just because they're in a United shirt.

Some players live off earlier potential that they just haven't fulfilled. I don't think it's always a case of players not performing to the best of their ability - the problem is, some of them are.

Looked offside.

Blame Park for this though. He's really been shocking.

Not surprising. We've been utter shite. Fergies squad not as strong as he likes to believe.

Unlucky, Gibbo.

Offside. Is there some sort of Linesman conspiracy?

So....much....ineptitude
