Yup, Giggs should have been on the bench minimum, that said Blackburn have offered little and the players on the pitch are more than good enough.
We always struggle to break teams down who constantly crowd their box, nothing new and wouldn't say it's anywhere near the worst performance this season.

as much as I love him..I do think Fergie has to hold his hand up for that team selection and positioning in that first half...

We haven't been great but at the same time we've shown we can get in behind Blackburns defence, the players just need to step up their delivery though. I always find it odd though that whenever I see updates of the game and we're loosing against a team like blackburn no one seems to mention the fact that we have so many players out of position and so many more not playing.
Have to say though I find the absence of all three of Rooney, Giggs and Gibson odd. Fair enough if they're injured but I don't think they all are. I get that we need to rest players but at the same time when you're dealing with so many injuries you need all the experience you can get. I think we need to try and get Carrick further forward or get Ando on. We need some more quality in the middle. Blackburn aren't really posing much of a threat in open play so maybe we can take a risk and push Carrick further forward and drop someone else in the defence.

what gets me the most is our sloppiness. the amount of loose touches is just inexcusable today. You cant win if you're lacking sharpness. At all
