Manchester United vs. Blackburn Rovers

Like feck was this game a title decider. That's laughable, look at the points for gods sake what is wrong with some of you.

fecking embarrassing. How De Gea is still number one I have no idea, he's a walking fecking disaster. This league isn't made for him, he needs some serious time off to bulk up and grow a pair.

Dean did take the piss with the time keeping but we can't blame that.

We seemed to assume the game was won at 2-2 and when Blackburn didn't capitulate we went flat, defended awfully and got mugged.

Fergie's pep talk to Kean worked wonders.

Not as much as his team selection. Blackburn were not good today, they simply capiatilised on uncertainty and disorganisation in our team. that is the hardest part to take for me, had Blackburn been great then you sometimes have to hold your hands up, but they were not.

We were shite. Simple as that really, and got what we deserved. Day to forget imo, and fortunately not too long to wait till tonight to do just that!

Fergie underestimated Blackburn, plain and simple.

mother of fecking feck, what a shit way to set the mood before new years party
I'm not going to enjoy anything tonight

bollocks x10000000000000000

Can't help but think we were guilty of complacency there. All of Blackburn's goals came from absolutely nothing.

Why did we start with that dreadful experimental line up with everyone all over the shop, and choose to give a load of kids their chance on the bench when we could have drawn from the likes of Rooney or Giggs, even if only for a cameo at the end?

It's hard to blame Sir Alex but our formation was not acceptable for a top team. And on top go that id was to many mediocre performance's from players I'm not sure are United material, a lot of hanging heads the last 20 min is a shame if you play at OT on our managers birthday.

I blame Berba, Carrick, and De Gea for each of Blackburn 3 goals,we gifted it to them, fecking pissed off.

It was a pretty terrible performance but the most frustrating thing was the manner in which the goals were conceded or I should say gifted.

Which players are these :wenger:

Not a title decider, no, but it is incredibly disappointing to see us field such a patchwork experimental team against a team struggling to even get a draw. It seemed like an opportunity to slash the goal difference to nothing and take pole position for the new year and put some serious pressure on City. A missed opportunity.

wont cost us the title,

but we did not deserve to win.

not playing Rooney was madness
.

Fergie said pregame that he hasn't trained well this week, that he's carrying a few knocks. Playing him today could have ended up costing us a lot more than it gained us.

Its was out MF and defence that cost us, not up top.

ok a few things learnt from today

1/ stop rotating squad and player positions incl gk's, professional footballers dont need to be rested- get the game won then take them off for a rest.

2/ please get cheque book out in January and buy a central defender, we have an injury prone defence

3/ Also buy a world class creative central midfielder who can weigh in with a few goals. Park and Rafael in central mid today is a joke.

4/ We lost today to a reserve blackburn team, only 3 first choice players samba, yakubu and pedersen playing,it is that what makes it worse.

5/ Steve Kean's job is safe, sure fergie is happy with that.

Once again we come up against a small team and show our arrogance by taking them lightly, then get beaten.

What's happened to the days when we were ruthless and destroyed whatever opposition were put in front of us?!

Dare I say Roy Keane. Blackburn had as many injuries as we had there today and their kids did better than our's. DDG will rightly get roasted for the third goal but some of the other performances were beyond belief, Nani should be dropped after such an inept performance.

SAF also has to take a large chunk of responsibility for showing a level of complacency that resulted in such a disjointed performance and a bench that he couldn't use as he thought he was going to be 2-0 or 3-0 up at half-time. For fecks sake we were 1/14 to win today!!!

It isn't over and those who think it is are a laughable bunch.

Now a couple of notes:

De Gea isn't ready to be number on, play Lindegaard.

Fergie needs to stop resting players completely. It would have made a world of difference to have Giggs and Rooney on the bench. You don't have to start them but don't be so cocky all the time, it can bite you in the ass (look at today and United going out of the CL as reference).

He should have been on the bench with Giggs. "No doubt about that".

Exactly, you could tell in the first 10 mins we were just going through the motions.

:D Even my great powers cannot help gain victory with such an abysmal starting line up.

I was gonna stop anyway, with Newcastle and city away, I was gonna play it safe and go out with a 100% record. That worked out well.

Silly mistakes were our downfall - silly by Berba to pull Samba for the pen, and their last two goals were mistakes.

When we got it back to 2-2, I was sure we'd go on to win 3-2.

Also, I can't believe the ref barely spoke one word to the Blackburn GK about his blatant timewasting from the 30th minute (or when they scored their first). Disgraceful he wasn't booked.

Underestimated them and paid the price. The CM combo we put out was an absolute joke.

I vividly remember SAF saying signing a CM would hold back Pogba. well, bollox that was, wasnt it? If he doesnt trust pogba to play ahead of rafael at CM, well, a new signing wouldnt make any fecking difference.

What a ridiculous result. New year party my ass now.. ffs..

Just ban this fecking WUM. All he contributes is shit in matchday threads.

I'd normally label a team like Blackburn today as game raising cnuts but they wasn't at all. They had a game plan and played to the same standard they do against most teams.

We were terrible. Going forward we look so predictable it's not funny. In midfield we had know creativity it was just square the ball to the flanks and let Valencia or nani have a go at getting the ball in.

In defense what can you say. Poor games all round, De Gea cost us the final goal and in my opinion shouldn't be our number 1, I honestly think it is Fergies stubbornness keeping him in the team as Lindegaard looks top notch whenever I see him.

Without just going on at De Gea we conceded two other goals that were the fault of others. The Penalty I have only seen once and to my mind it looked abit harsh, can't really comment until I see it again though so I'll leave that one.

The second goal, take your pick of who to blame. Carrick didn't show him self in any glory and Jones looked like he should be in that Blackburn team. Again you could say De Gea shouldn't let the ball go through his legs, something he has done a few times now.

Overall a terrible day at the office in a season where I feel we can't afford to lose many points let alone to teams like Blackburn. I thought before the Christmas schedule started I'd be pretty happy if we ended up just 3 points behind City. I'll try and hold on to that as a positive but it annoying knowing it was possible to be top by 3 points.

All of you out there were snooked by SAF. After voicing so much support for Steve Kean, he naturally tried and help him with one. Knowing that it is still a long season ahead and anything may happened, he has purposedly fielded a confused line-up in the first half. Also purposely fielded a GK who is very weak in the air knowing Samba and Yukubu will attack him at every opportunity. Anderson seemed fine and Will Keane should be a better defender from the start. Ha Ha Ha, Happy New Year to all of you.
