is it me or Evra looks like Terrence Howard in this picture?

"Criticism is fine as long as it's balanced," the manager declared. "Anderson and Tom Cleverley have been injured and those two, in particular, have tremendous potential – they’re fantastic young players. So we're missing two very important cogs in the machine.
I'm starting to lose patience in Anderson, he's basically been the same since we bought him, no real progress shown. And he manages to get a serious injury every season as well. I know he's still young, but I'm just not as certain as I was before that he'll ever truly make it here.
The Mirror says Anderson is back in training with the first team squad and should be available for the new year programme.

Should have started and come off rather than the other way round
In hindsight that's exactly what we needed. But at least he's fit now and he should be getting immediate action in midfield. We need to start putting players back where they belong.
Slimmer, back, good.
It was a surprisingly good return to the team. His inclusion definitely brought shape and balance to the side. If he was fit enough to play 45 minutes I'm not sure why he didn't start rather than playing Rafael in center midfield though. Very odd decision by Sir Alex.
Nice to see him back, should have started if fit enough. Will be relied upon heavily during the second half of the season

No. You think it would be wise to start Anderson, of all people, on his first appearance back after a month and a half out injured without even having turned out for the reserves?
no stick a fecking rb - also just back from another injury , there instead that worked a fecking treat didn't it. fergie figured it out at halftime that he'd fecked it up.
Rafael had turned out for the Reserves and had been back in training far longer than Anderson. Anderson wasn't yet ready to start a Premier League game. That much is clear to anyone with a modicum of common sense. Unsurprisingly, with four of our other five central midfield options also unavailable to start the game and with our only fully fit centre midfielder required to play at centre-back, due to four of our five centre-backs being out ill/injured, we had to improvise a little bit with our team selection!
then play him at rb. anyone with a modicum of common sense wouldn't play a 21 yr old injury prone rb at cmf unless they did then saw they fecked it up and then changed it at halftime. like i posted fergie knew he fecked it up and sorted it out. credit to him for that.

So who would you have started with in central midfield?
It was odd that he went with the CM pairing he did. Not necessarily that he left Anderson out. I would've rather seen Fryers start and have Carrick in center mid than what Sir Alex went with today. We started the game with 4 players out of position, 5 if you count Park, with either Carrick or Anderson starting in CM we could have had only player out of position, possibly two. That's all I was saying.
Fryers with Jones at centre-back?
Sorry, but I think that's just complete and utter fecking madness (only slightly less so btw if you'd have partnered Jones with Evra and played Fryers at left-back)! To suggest that Fergie made a very odd decision with his selection and then offer either of those as an alternative is just, well, infuriating and odd itself in equal measure.
Blackburn, despite having their own injury problems, crucially had Samba back there holding everything together.
The reality is that our team selection was going to look very odd no matter how you lined up the available players AND THAT IS BECAUSE OF THE SHEER NUMBER OF INJURIES THAT WE CURRENTLY HAVE IN THE FIRST TEAM SQUAD.
Why can't people just accept that?
because you're defending the silliest of all those options based on wait for it ... your opinion.
as posted before - fergie fecked it up then corrected it. he corrected the selection you're defending -give it up you're alone. the fecking manager changed the fecking line up after he saw he fecked up. watch the game at the half he makes the change that you're not willing to.
