We've been so poor tonight. The greatest disappointment for me has been the inability of our players to spot runs and hit the ball early and accurately. The lack of speed in our passing has allowed Newcastle to get set every single time we've tried to build an attack and we've never looked like playing through them when they've got back into two banks of four.

Paul Scholes in superior to every player in our midfield at this moment and every possible player in our midfield from the bench or academy, so the point you make is wrong and secondly via I meant concerning the way we play, if you're out midfielded by Newcastle then simply we need to address these issues - and have needed to since Scholes started slowing down anyway.
