Shouldve been a lot more. and they should be down to 10

:lol::lol::lol: LOVE IT

Rooney's finishing has been off but he hasn't been shite at all.

Great movement and some fantastic passing.

Why, he's been shite this half. He is paid to play at world superstar level every game. Its a rod on his back of his own making.

If it were Bervatov, this place would have overloaded and shut down given the volume of indignation.
Maybe, instead of using some other idiots hatred for one of our players to justify our own hatred of another of our players, we should all stop being a bunch of ridiculous, pouty, spoilt bastards and actually support the entire team?

This thread's a laughable disgrace.

Great vision by Rooney not to shoot there. Scholes gets the goal but has been poor. Although a decent first half by the team as a whole.

Scholes really is such a legend! That was a vital goal as the longer it went on 0-0 the deeper Bolton were going to dig in, should open things up a little now and let the tide flow :D

RE: Rooney, he's not having a good game because he is clearly being asked to play deep in order to give some legs to Scholes and Carrick.

Can't believe I missed his first goal on his comeback because the stream went down!

Flying hell!

Haven't looked very good, but certainly good enough to beat Bolton, if we can keep things sewn up at the back.

So many fecking retards on here. Take Rooney off? What are you guys smoking?

He was shit for large parts of the game. Played some good passes (including two important ones for the goal), but he lost the ball way too often.

Eh? What game are you watching, I thought he's been bossing with his passing.

I didn't think Rooney was playing as shite as everyone was making out. He always makes a few basic errors every game but overall he's been okay.

Welbeck was class whenever he had the ball, just a shame he didn't have it much towards the last 10 minutes of the half.

Carrick has made a few great passes and been very good too.

SCHOLES.

HT:Good first half for United.Nice to see Scholes get one.Nani, Welbeck,Carrick have all played well. Can see Bolton conceding more in the second half.

great timing to score, a bit frustrated it took us so long to score and not kill bolton off though.

Welbeck has been excellent. Rooney has been average, but a lot of over-exaggerated shite in here regarding his performance.

feck OFF ALL YOU CNUTS who said resigning the ginger prince was a regressive move by the club!

Has saved this half being a complete waste of time and the team from a huge hairdryer from SAF.

Thank God for Paul Scholes. 2 more years please.

I read so much crap in the week, in the press and even on this site from our own fans.

Shove that goal up where it hurts you hard. 38 years old and yet there he was in the 45th minute of a tiring half on the 6 yard line ready to slot in. He still has legs and stamina!!!

Great display that half, he was quietly efficient, playing the ball everywhere it needed to go, without being noticed too much (ie detected by Boltons midfield). When he plays, just like Xavi, he always finds himself space and so creates himself the time to think and make the right pass ... his decision making is just amazing.

Having him back is just so wonderful I don't care if we sign Modric, Gotz, even Xavi, having Paul Scholes around can never do you any harm, and most of the time gives you an extra dimension.

It's saying Bogdan on BBC Sport? Hint of an OG?

EDIT: Think its a feck up on their behalf

...

Apologies, I chose the wrong ginger hero at Old Trafford after getting so carried away with Adam Bogdan's string of stops. It was, of course, Paul Scholes who put United ahead.

Really good half that.

Thought everyone played well, even Rooney up until the miss, then he lost his way a bit.

Welbeck has been superb, looks like he's going to be our main striker for some time to come.

Carrick and Valencia great too.

a good half to be honest. Need to use our wide men more. Valencia and rafael are combining well. Rooney needs to lift his game. And Evans to score at least from one of his forward runs.

Rooney has been found out as a penalty taker. He simply just blasts it mid height in one of the corners and the goalies know it.

Eh? What game are you watching, I thought he's been bossing with his passing.

He has had a terrible back pass in the first 3 mins, his normal long range passing has been off and also mis placed a 5 yard pass on the edge of their box which created a counter attack for them! Plus misplaced some other passes that have not resulted in a Bolton attack. Take the ginger tinted glasses off!

That said great run into the box and gets a crucial goal!
