Yes that is right
It is a rule to make sure that managers update the overall list - makes it easier for everyone to see in one post who has been picked and who is not, instead of scanning up and down the page(s)

That instantly makes more sense than:

'indicated on the overall list of picks by all 8 teams'

Which sounds like all 8 of us have to give our approval or there's another master list floating about in a database somewhere!

Sorry if this is just me being stupid, I wasn't having a go.

In fairness to Cling Bak, the whole rule was a mistery to me until it was explained to him. And I'm getting a lot more sleep than he is!

I would leave out the being updated by all 8 teams, sounds like it needs validation from other contestants.

"Your pick is only valid if you post the current status of the draft immediately after it". That automatically makes all posters do it.
