Liverpool vs. Manchester United

Really disappointing, the last 20 minutes they just seemed to get away from us

Playing both carling cup and the fa cup hopefully will cost liverpool their chances of climbing in the league.

They'll be back to losing against mid-table shite soon enough. They're just game raisers, plus some of the decisions today were awful, namely the Maxi one.

The real winners today the racists in the crowd with the monkey gestures and shouts of black, black, black, black at one point in the second half and itv not once condemning it but cutting to suarez at every opportunity.

Only good thing out of going out is everyone will see how idiotic the liverpool fans really are and thats one less set of games to worry about in the run in to end of season with our current injury list.

Evra, Welbeck and Carrick played a different game, plus SAF went for a draw...

Not Carrick, thought he did well,

But Evra was very self conscious and Welbeck non existent, not his fault, but never got in the game at all, unlike Carroll who was all over us, literally.

How does that concern us? They were never good enough for the league anyway but they are undefeated at home which was going to be significant

Well, expected defeat against the game raisers but for all our injuries we did okay, not much to moan about, though both goals were easily avoidable.
Evra sadly had a shocker, never got forward with any conviction, then is in no mans land for the winner. I wonder if it did get to him.
Subbing Scholes cost us, he goes off, everyone starts passing like a retard, and we start hoofing, it's so annoying cos Scholes wasn't even looking tired.
Welbeck centre mid? wtf was that?

Somebody needs to explain to saf that Hernandez and welbeck are too similar and is neve going to work.

Poor substitutions by us and astute by doglish cost us that game. DDG needs to go out on loan somewhere.

It was not astute by Daglish... That was their full team..
Adams., Kuyt and Bellamy lately, are 1st team players.. We didnt have that luxury with half of our team injured..

I think Ferguson fecked up by taking Scholes off. It completely changed the game, similarly as Wenger did against us last week.

we missed Rooney....

Might have been asking a bit too much for Scholes to play 90 minutes, but I agree him going off, and Bellamy coming on changed everything.

Deserve the lost. No two ways about it. For all our possession, we created feck all.

And what did Liverpool create?

I thought we were very good at controlling the game. It's true we didn't penetrate as well as we could have been but I thought we bossed the game in midfield till Scholes went off, which, given how poor our record at Anfield has been in recent years, was a good achievement. However, we had very little threat from the left hand side and Welbeck hasn't really played the lone striker role enough for the first team to know how to get involved in that system well.

We lost control when Scholes wen't off and after that we were poor I thought and In the end it was one mistake that cost us the game. So overall, I'm happy with the way we played at a difficult ground on a difficult occasion. Just not happy with Evra's lazy defending. Lazy would be the one thing you'd thing he'd not be on the day.

To be fair, the famous Liverpool pass and move philosophy beat us - Reina's 900000-yard pass to Dick Kuyt.

Are you fecking mad?

What we needed was a bit of luck. We have completely outplayed them. They just fluked it. The goalkeeper issue is completely irrelevant to the result. There is no reason to be on DDG's back again.
