Manchester United vs. Liverpool

They would observe it. I don't think either set of fans are crass enough to disrespect any football tragedy

after the last few months all my assumptions about the decency of liverpool fans has completely changed

We need a win, but oh boy do I want us to smash those scousers. Our crowd should boo, whistle and humiliate Suarez whenever he has the ball. Hopefully Suarez will implode.

Yeah Rafaels defensive side is coming on leaps and bounds. Every time I watch him recently he's not afraid to get in there still but he's winning the ball almost every time. Good strong challenges and coming away with the ball time and time again. He's looking a lot stronger.

Rafael plays a very agressive style. He doesn't just hold his ground against the attacker, he like to get right in and win the ball straight away before the attacker has time to run at him. This has it's advantages and disadvantages. Main advantage is that, if he wins the ball, then we have a good chance to counter attack due to the sudden change of possesion while the opposition are all attacking. The main disadvantage is that if he misses the tackle then Rafael is out of the game (if the winger is fast) and the attacker has easily beat his man.

But like stated before, Rafael wins the ball a lot more than he doesn't. He has really improved his timing and anticipation of the player.

If he can stay relatively injury free then I think he will become the best full back in the world at some stage of his career.

Very Bold Statement there unitedbhoy hope you are correct!

Nani has said on Twitter that he's out for tomorrow.

Shit :(

It's probably gonna be:

-------De Gea
Rafael-Evans-Rio-Evra
Valencia-Carrick-Giggs-Young
----Rooney-Welbeck

I wouldn't be too surprised if Fergie starts Cleverley, even though he hasn't had any action, he seems very fond of him.

8-2

Oh can you imagine!!

That would be stuff of dreams, wet ones but will never happen. This is Liverpool, not Arsenal. On paper they may not be as good but in such a huge rivalry game that does matter. It always has the potential to be a close game, often with penalties and red cards involved, even at our place. I'd take a scrappy 1 goal lead win but would also love to give them a proper roasting, humiliate them.

Surely playing Cleverley in such a big game after no pitch time is risky?

Hope so too mate. Seeing him and Gerrard score or running about all smug would be horrible. Its so annoying that on paper we have been miles better than them for years and yet the size of the game means they could take points and get all smug. I don't want to see Kenny doing that annoying giggle at the side of the touchline at any costs. Hate them and real sick of them this season, they're crap!!!

id be surprised if Cleverly gets a start tomorrow.

I still feel we will fly at them from the start and try to get a few early goals.
Hopefully we can win comfortably.

fecking gotta win ain't we? A comfortable one too would be fecking EPIC. Not a 8-2 or shit, a 2-0 or a 3-0 would make me cum in my pants.

Not gonna get a lot of sleep tonight, I'm pumped up already!

Ugh. Just got back from the local pub (about a mile and a half from Old Trafford) and got talking to a slightly pissed guy who I found sat in my seat next to the mrs having returned from the bar with our drinks. Humoured him for a few minutes bur it turned out we had uncannily common interests. After about an hour it transpired he was a bloody Liverpool supporter moaning about the number of 'Mancs' about. In Manchester. I feel dirty. Anyway, he reckons 2-1 to them with a Suarez opener or 3-1 to us. Hope he's right with the latter.

I'd be surprised.

He'll bring him on as a sub much like the City game in the Champions Shield. Wouldn't surprise me if he came on at half time.

Wouldn't be upset to see Pogba involved. He had a great cameo last appearance. I don't exepct him to be involved from the start, but it would be pleasing to see him come off the bench depending on how the game progresses.

We are better on paper, that's why we should smash them tomorrow. Unfortunately, this United team play quite cautious against the top teams.

I hope we won't sit back, give Liverpool plenty of time on the ball, letting them string a few passes, building their confidence and inviting them to attack us. We've seen that before twice this season and everytime they got a result (draw and a fecking win).

A Liverpool win or a draw tomorrow would ruin my weekend. Also, fecking lunchtime kick off jinx.

In this case alone, I'd love to beat them on a complete joke of a penalty in the 94th minute.

No problem with that. Wouldn't mind De Gea knocking out Squirtle, Suarez and Carroll when he's coming out for a long ball or when we're defending a corner. That walling trick they used in the FA Cup was dirty.

they do the freekick wall trick too the dirty cnuts. I remember De Gea getting angry and then Little Donkey laughing in his face. I really wish he did that to Vidic or someone so they could knock the fecking shitness out of him.

I want Suarez to start. And to be taken off on the hour mark after a dreadful performance.

No chance though, Dalglish will do all he can to see Suarez is effective.

I can't decide which would be sweeter; a red for Suarez, a Torres-esque miss from Suarez, or just for him to be really, really shit for the whole game. Here's to all of the above!

A Torres-esque miss. In the 97th minute and we win 1-0. From an Evra goal. That was a result of a mis-hit Suarez back-pass. :D

That's a tough choice. I'd go for him being really really shit. And not just anonymous but hopelessly bad. Won't happen though. Hell be fired up for this one. Would have liked to have Vidic to get stuck into him early on.

Best thing from evra's perspective would be him actually defending really well vs suarez. Quite nervous about that match up.

My prediction: We'll lose or draw this, De Gea thread will be filled with posts, people will go on about how shit our midfield is and how Rooney is overrated.

Actually I really hope de gea puts in a quality performance. They will no doubt try and target him on set pieces.

Can't wait for this, a big game I actually have time off to watch :D. Really hope we win, big match for us a win is imperative to keep pressure on City.
