Norwich City vs. Manchester United

HT:Need to gain some control in the second half after starting so well.

Why do we need to do this? Why do we have to dominate and then play like retards and invite the opposition back into the game?

It's what we do, we're Man United we'll do what we want.

No but yes, its annoying but you know it'll happen every game without fail so you just accept it. city, Arsenal, Liverpool, Ajax, the list goes on.

We seem to have some sort of psychological problem with going in front early, there's no reason for us to get completely over-run in midfield like that. We were playing so well before the goal, it's really odd.

There's always something we do every season that for some reason takes the entire season to correct. Last year it was our horrendous away form, this year it's taking the lead and taking our foot off the gas.

DDG is getting there isnt he

And he is getting bigger by the looks of him, his upper body is beefing up...the sexy bastard

Torn between whether to watch us shit ourselves for 45 minutes, or watch a fantastic Spurs - Arse match.

DDG has kept us in it. They really are having a go. But we have looked sharp when attacking.

He may have kept us in the lead but it's ambitious to say he's kept us "in it". One great save and some good hands to catch a flick on is hardly under siege.

People get drawn into the commentary too much. Stan Collymore claims that this Norwich side deserve to be 5-1 up and suddenly everything's disastrous. Yeah, we need to pick up the tempo again but we started really, really well and have done what we set out to do in the first half I imagine - get our noses in front and then stay tight.

Welbeck will exploit more space as the game progresses, he's dropping deep really well. I'd like to see more of Giggs though.

Big Dave is some prospect.

He's going to be world number 1 when he fills out and learns his trade at the top level.

He is growing comfortable in the role now, he is following in a long line of Man United players like Stam and Vidic who came to Man United, were initially lukewarm, and out of nowhere became world beaters.

Very annoying to see it happening time and again.

I'd ridicule myself for this observation but, Norwich became dominant from about the time Chicha let a routine ball into his feet in our half bounce 10 yards off and give possession back to Norwich.

We need to get the ball into the attacking 3rd - we were ripping them apart once we got there. When we do get the ball we pass it around a while, get pressured to send it back to De Gea and then lose possession as he has to clear it.

We need to be the ones forcing possession back to us not the other way around damnit.

Come on United !!!!

Let's hope we can do better in the 2nd half.

Why do we initially play well, score a goal, then sit back and allow the opposition onto us?

I'd love to see us find our ruthless streak again, and just completely go at teams until the death.

Why not watch the spurs arse match and allow United fans to watch this game.

Yeah, but ye beat us to Mikel, so it's swings and roundabouts.
