Sunderland vs. Manchester United

Shut you fecking retard. We lost because they scored in the last fecking minute.

We blew an 8 point lead, got knocked out from Europe against feckin Basile and Bilbao. If you cant see the writing on the wall....

And if Aguero's doesn't score in the last minute? Where's the writing?

I agree we need addressing in CM, the value etc..but they scored in the last minute, they won it in the last minute...nothing to do with value, centre midfield or De Gea.

Just them scoring in the last fecking minute.

I'm ill.

We would have been LUCKY. Jon, if you read my previous posts you'll know how thrilled I was at the prospect of winning the league. However lets face it, the team had been in decline and we did little to compensate for that

Its not all gloom and doom. We've got some kids coming out. However lets face it, we need to invest in the squad and the reason why we ended up trophyless is due to that.

And I haven't even mentioned De Gea. He was one of our best performers this season.

Where's the writing? It's papered over. If we had a stronger team then their scoring in the last fecking minute wouldn't have made a difference because we'd have won the League last week with a win over Swansea, if not before.

I'm taking this a lot better than I had expected at FT.
Decent season. City did better.
Kagawa-san will give us the edge again next season..
Now for the fecking euros.

A media blackout for a few days will be needed though.

He conveniently forgot that we lost an 8 point lead and got thrashed out of Europe by the likes of Basile and Bilbao.

It's the truth.
You think its his ideology?
He has spent big money before. He has a budget which isnt helped by the crazy inflated wages everyone wants now.

No one is spending big money without being backed by their owners. We dont have that. (this isnt pro/anti glazer, btw)

If there is to be blame laid at Ferguson's feet then it'd more relevant to question his team selections at times (Blackburn at home, City away) and substitutions (Everton at home). Despite the injuries and lack of investment in the midfield, we had the players to do the business.

I have to go to the movies tonight with someone I don't particularly like. Man, how am I going to hold it together. As soon as she says something stupid I'll lose my fecking popcorn all over the place!

If he's not given the money then he should say it. Its not worth putting a magnificent career on the line for a pack of inbreds who know nothing about football. If Rafa can knock the owners out of Liverpool by saying the truth then imagine what SAF can do.

On the other hand if he thinks that he can get away from bringing in 2 new CM then...well....he's wrong.

That's the only thing I blame SAF on. Actually I am amazed how he managed to go so far with such weak team.

Does she know anything about football? If she so much as mentions what happened, punch her and leave.

We cant blame anyone apart from ourselves. I hope that SAF is proud with his Value ideology. We really reaped the benefits of it.

We lost the league because we failed to address our CM problems. Viera was right, relying on a retired player to deliver the spark needed in CM is lame. Its time we start replacing our key players.

I forgot, no one can replace Paul Scholes. In fact we still play Robson since no one could replace him as well.

You really are the worlds biggest cnut, honestly.

What good will that do.. risk losing his job and watch his team suffer?
He is still the best man for the job. He has to do what he has to.
And its not like we dont have any money.
I honestly dont think we wouldve had any more to spend if there was no takeover at all.
The debt is a separate issue.. but we have a wage budget of over 150m.. its a LOT of money.

Not having sugar daddies isnt really something to complain about, is it?

You can't complain with 89 points in the league. I of course wish United would have won the title but they didn't. I'm still proud of their performance in the league this season. The big disappointment was the champions league. But, there were a whole slew of good new young players - Jones, Smalling, Young, de Gea, Welbeck, etc... I though Johnny Evans turned around his game as well. Onwards and upwards! Bring on 2012-13.

The whining about the owners needs to stop. Jones, Young, Smalling and de Gea were all bought. I don't think that the owners are to blame for this season. The money was also their when they resigned Rooney. I will say this about the Arabs. Do we really know how rich they really are. After all if they were all that rich they would have bought out Yevez's contract but they didn't. Truthfully, we don't know what they are worth. It's not like they are a first world corporation who at least have some people knowledge of the riches.

At best it will spur some action from the Glazers either by selling the club (Rafa did it and he's no SAF) or invest in it. At worst we'll know the truth and SAF wont risk leaving a scar in his career to defend these bastards who are ruining the club. A win win situation in my opinion.

United were never managed by sugar daddies and I hope we will never do. However we always replaced quality with players with great potential and we were never reduced to rely heavily on 38 yr olds or former retired players.

Come on devilish.
The liverpool owners didnt leave because of Benitez.
They had a debt they couldnt restructure. They had no money and the debt was going up.

And what exactly does Fergie have to complain about. We have money to spend.. just not 40m/200k a week.

Every talented 19 year old now wants 100k with an agent wanting a few million and their clubs valuing every kid at 30m. That really isnt value..

We could do it in the past because noone else had crazy money and the market wasnt this inflated. That has changed.

What do you want Fergie to say? We have money to spend.. just not crazy money.

We won the league and got to the CL finals last season. not exactly going to make people desperate to throw more money is it?
I do think the Glazers could invest a bit more from their end.. and probably will. But it doesnt have to be done in public.

I'm not going to use this as an excuse to bash the Glazers. they are not the problem. City with unlimited money is the problem.

The only way we can compete with that type of unlimited spending is to hope the Qatar types take us over...which would in reality bring Manchester United to the end.

City were nothing so it does not matter who owns them.

Still we do things the right way and Fergie will have us bounce back.

We brought players with great resale value potential while players like Ronaldo and Tevez left and the Fergie babes grew old. The quality of the side had been going down for quite some time now.

The Glazers couldn't afford losing Rooney for the simple reason he's one of the very few big names we still have.

Their age is irrelevant if they are doing the job though our form since Scholes came back has been terrific I don't think there is another central midfielder in the world who could of inspired such form from us.

We all know that there is a need to replace him eventually but it will be done in a sensible manner and in the manner we have always done it, look for reasonably priced younger talent and integrate our young lads.

Had we not been crippled by injuries not just to our starters, but their replacements as well then I dare say we'd have won at a canter, our squad is one central creative force away, not 2 at this time.

Rafa hit the Hicks-Gilette partnership hard and SAF can do better then that. Im pretty confident that if SAF tells the fans the truth then pressure would mount on the Glazers part to either change their ways or leave. It would be interesting to see them sacking a living legend for saying the truth about them. Let them see how they'll manage to fill OT after that.

Im not asking a team made up of 23 world class players and we dont need that. However the quality of the team had nose dived recently and that is in my opinion unacceptable.

And lets stop criticizing the Sheiks for investing in their club. At least they are not sucking it dry to pay their bloody debt.

I just can't help but be reminded of the last time we needed an overhaul when we went out to Benfica 05/06.

Came second that season with Giggs and O'shea in midfield, had some young players we were still to see the best out of, we went and bought one midfielder who no one expected us too in Michael Carrick who everyone assumed would be crap but which was the spring board for another 5/6 years success.

Obviously other players coming to prominence helped as well, no doubt but we've got an amazing groups of young lads in Smalling, Evans, Jones, Welbeck and Cleverly who will all be much better next season for their experience in this one.

We aren't far off.

Age is relevant because 38 yr olds cant play week in week out. Not to forget that they are time bombs. One day they great, the other day they can turn shit. Such thing happened to the likes of Baresi and Gaz and it wasn't pretty.

Its ridiculous that we've ended up sorting CM with the likes of defenders, wingers and retired players. Regarding injuries, many of the players that actually fecked up for good are known for their injury track record. (Ando, Cleverley, the twins etc)

We've got a side with great potential but which is screaming for some serious investment. Whether we can afford that or not remain to be seen.
