He can feck right off for if he doesn't go now, he will want to leave in a year or two. I couldn't be bothered less.

I think he will stay. I'm sure SAF would have done enough to make Pogba's mind up to stay. He is a good player, and he did decently well this season when given the chance. Atleast i hope he stays.

Every day there's no actual announcement makes me feel he's off and just won't say it until he's finished his duty with us. Didn't even know we had another reserve match.

Well...if it was decided - imo it would be out by now.

1) United would confirm he had signed a new agreement

2) Juve would confirm he is their player from july 1st - why wait if he had signed a pre-contract ? It's not like they would be doing anything illegal....

in other words -if it was decided, there would be no reason to keep it a secret!

Or he'll have made the right decision after a long and extensive thinking process and will have made strides towards the first team and maybe even cemented his place and will commit for another 5 years.

Since he's still contracted to us, training with us and has this game, it would be highly uncomfortable for him to do so if it's known he's agreed to join Juventus. Maybe he's delaying signing officially for them or asked them to keep it quiet (which they might not have done that well, looking at media claims he's chosen Juve). I just think that if he was going to stay, he'd make it known by now.

Only last week his agent was quoted as telling they were likely to join Juventus. So if he wants to keep it quiet, not doing a good job.

Just scored for the reserves.....according to the the City announcer anyway.

If he were to resign, what would be the odds of him going out on loan next season to a Premiership or Championship side?

If there is any chance of him signing a new contract, he wouldn't be signing it to go on loan the next season. He would expect to be in the first team, and Fergie has said the same.

So he couldn't get into the first team this season when Fletcher was out, Anderson was out, Cleverley was out, and prior to Scholes return, yet he will get into the first team next season with potentially all of those players available and possibly a new signing or two?

Has looked as he normally does tonight - composed and tidy. Nothing spectacular, but some great touches and turns.

He's letting Petrucci do most of the creation, and is actually doing a pretty good job defensively.

Hard to see it. This season should have been his big chance.

Fergie talked him up a lot last summer, but hasn't given him many chances. Pogba's performances for the reserves haven't merited more.

Do you understand why he is stalling now? He feels ready and wants first team football. Doesn't care if it's at United and why should he? I think Ferguson is persuading him to stay but being honest at the same time, he's not going to be ready to play more than a few games next season but it will be worth the wait when he does crack it here... Look at all that have been before him and therein lies the dilemma. Promised first team at Juve when he feels ambitious enough to step up for that or wait his turn at United?

Yep. He can talk people up but they have to back it. Fergie said Welbeck will be going to the World Cup in 2010 but that was no where near because he didn't look particularly good for us and was then injured for Preston.

I still don't see how Juve will fast track him, though. They're back in the big time, the CL. I can't see them having the time to let such a raw player play regularly until he's ready.

I completely understand if he wants to regularly play first team football, but if he thinks that he can walk into Juventus's starting 11, he's sadly mistaken. They already have Vidal, Marchisio, Pirlo and their own youth products and that is without Juventus signing anyone in the summer, which is unlikely.

It would be great for all of us, if MUTV or other network would make a straight interview with him, so he could say what he really wants.

Right now, I'm happy that he's happy because of this win at Etihad. Maybe at the end, he'll understand that feeling and satisfaction from playing for United is something truly unique and wonderful.

To be fair no words are neccessary. When a player goes silent for months on end right up to the point where they can leave then they always leave

Agreed if he was signing or going to it would be done by now. We won't feel the loss imo as he has contributed to the first team. But by all acounts the boy could have been special for us, I guess time will tell but makes you feel sad that there not at Utd but still proud when you see the likes of Pique, Rossi, Frazer campbell etc do so well.

Was watching the Press on United or whatever its called and they said he's most likely going. But apparently its similar to Tevez in terms of the agent has got more control than he should, Pogba wants to stay at United but the agent somehow has a bigger say.

That's bollocks (the agent seemingly making his mind up for him), Pogba signs the contract not Raiola.

he has no duty or obligation to anyone but himself (and his agent) - that's the honest truth.

Agreed.

Many on here are willing to throw insults his way for doing something most of us would do if we were in his position- seek the best possible deal for ourselves. Remember, Pogba doesn't have the same ties to this club or the area that the Keane brothers, Tunnicliffe, Larnell Cole or Danny Welbeck have, so he may not see United as the be-all and end-all of world football.

So he's not greedy, disrespectful or an ungrateful cnut (as many here have said he is), he's a young kid who's apparently been offered a far better wage by another famous football club. It's as simple as that.

Thats what I thought. But guess it could be one of those things where he knows he'll get more money there and its a short career etc etc. Think its more a case of this guy may be just talking too much and confusing Pogba.

Depends on if he's stalling in regards to first team options or if he's simply looking to be overly compensated. If he's seriously looking for 20k per week or more without being remotely near the first team, then it's not down to first team desires - it's ultimately financial.

Why did Pogba come to United in the first place? . And what was he expecting?

$$$ (him or his family were behind the cash)
If he wanted to progress as a footballer, he'd have stayed at Le Havre for 2 seasons before making a move to a bigger Ligue 1 and then he could have joined the PL.

There was also some story that Pogba didn't feel wanted at Le Harve and that they only attempted to keep him when United became interested, probably bull.

Juventus to unveil Pogba on Monday

Wish he would just bugger off, The guy's an idiot.

Good luck getting into that Midfield

Pirlo, Marchisio, Vidal, Padoin, Marrone, Verratti, Bouy, Gabriel, Nainggolan & Kondogbia

They will probably send him out on loan to Chievo or something. Then after 2-3 seasons out on loan he will head back to France and a club like Nantes. Then at age 28-29 a bottom PL club will sign him and he will walk out on Old Trafford in a Wolves shirt thinking what if I stayed at United?;)
