After a blinding first few games, he had a slight dip in form for Madrid. Inevitably, this saw the anti-latin/ stepover brigade on here to conclude that he was shit, and of course, miles behind Rooney. However, he appears to be finding his feet again and is in dazzling form at the moment, definetly the best young player on current form i'd say.

He displays many of the same traits as Robinho, particularly a lack of footballerliness, that's why I'd suggest he'll end up at the same level. I could be wrong but more times I'm right.Football players are individuals, and they don't follow particular archetypes. There are plenty of examples either side of the line (Ronaldinho and Ronaldo, vs Robinho and Denilson) to suggest that he could just as well become utterly brilliant. Leading the line and performing for Brazil (not just at these Olympics, of course) is hardly evidence to doubt the man yet, hype or no hype.
