Manchester United vs. Fulham

Interesting game.

A win is a win - but it's worrying how we're teared open when we face a Dembele/Fellaini type of player.

What a poor poor second half from us.

Similar to last season after going ahead.

But a win and early on in the season so hope its temporary.

really nervy second half. We took the pressure of and just started playing it around and it nearly cost us again when Fulham got back into the match. We really need to get back into just killing teams totally out of games

Same happened to a team-mate of mine - was out for arond 5 weeks now and has started light jogging.

Thank God we have quality cover with van Persie and Kagawa.

Terrible second half, disappointing performance but we got away with 3 points. Should be a lot more comfortable at home! Get well soon Wayne.

 If its just a cut he will be OK in a week or so with a bandage. If they stitch it today it will be fully heeled in two weeks.

It seemed similar to nanis, how long was he out for ?

our midfield is shit

Nah, I disagree. We dominated first half and just need to keep that sort of intensity up for an entire game, rather than letting other teams get back into it and in holding on for the win like today.

No idea what Fergie said at half time because we came out for the second half looking like we'd gone down a gear. Like so many times last season we seemed to go into cruise control after going ahead and in the end had to struggle to secure a victory we were cruising towards after 45 minutes. Bizarre. The subs didn't help any either. I had no idea what role Van Persie was playing after Rooney came on and Kagawa coming off didn't help our fluency at all. We lucked out in the end. Also Vidic and De Gea need to agree on who is taking charge of what situations.

Kagawa shouldn't have come off, the substitutions were really poor by Fergie. It felt as if he only wanted to give players minutes rather than let the team perform well.

Great first half, shite second. Kagawa is already looking key.

Dembele was quality. Problems of our own making though.
Fulham made mistakes too.. The red wouldve made things a lot easier for us.. Ref didnt want to give it for some reason.

No real concerns for me.. Defenders will be back for the next game. Carrick will be shielding them too. That aspect will be fine.

He looks way off the pace, we should be fine without him for a few weeks.

Probably best that we can have 2-3 weeks gelling without having to worry about Rooney's fitness and happiness.

Taking Kagawa off was insane, the only justification was proving how everything turned to shit without him.

Kagawa has finally replaced Scholes. If we take him off, Scholes better be on the pitch, otherwise we look the same we always looked without Scholes: shit at keeping possession and unable to control the tempo.

The co commentator on my stream has criticised every save De Gea's made :wenger:
Same for mine. DDG punched the ball away and all they go on about is that it was a strange move and asking why he didn't catch it instead of punching it. The fact that he saved the shot didn't seem to matter to them

I can't wait for a CB to return. Even Phi Jones will do just fine. We need to get Carrick into central midfield as soon as possible. That second half today was even worse than our performance last week.
