Manchester United vs Newcastle United

So Micheal Keane at right back or Vermijl?

I don't know, I like Vermijl, he's a consistent performer.

I think that's his problem. He's so damn steady, whether we are winning or losing he just seems to play the same. Fans like players with personality.

I like him as a player, sure he needs to develop a lot to be a United player but thats the same for all our youngsters.

De Gea, Vermijl, M Keane, Wootton, Buttner, Fletcher, Cleverley, Anderson, Rooney, Welbeck, Chicharito

4-4-2 with Welbeck on left, or 4-3-3 with Chicha playing as main striker?
What do you think guys?

I like it. How fitting that we go out and play like Keegan's Newcastle side vs. them.

Shite defence, unreal attack. 8-7 I reckon.

Fletch is the captain, so delighted for him.

If its 4-4-2, Anderson does the running on the wing instead of Fletch.
Guess it'll be 4-3-3 with Welbeck and Rooney dropping wide if/when needed.

#MUFC subs: Johnstone, Evans, Powell, Tunnicliffe, King, Lingard, Brady

Oooh that bench.
I want to see them all get minutes.
edit: except Evans..

#NUFC. Elliot, Perch, Coloccini, Williamson, Tavernier, Obertan, Tiote, Gosling, Marveaux, Vuckic, Sh. Ameobi

Probably not that bad a defense. But a great attack struggles to express its best qualities when it's not backed up by a good defense and a good general balance.

Similar to us playing in the cup with 4 fringe strikers in a non-balanced team only to hear people slag them off after playing out of position for not setting the world alight.

Having said that, the only doubts tonight are our center backs and balance. With Fletcher in the side they'll get cover and hopefully Hernandez can link up to a decent effect...oh and match fitness
