Chelsea vs. Manchester United

He he Anderson was spent yet Giggs looked as if hadn't broken sweat.

Are Powell and Tunnicliffe the same age? The difference in their development thus far is noticeable.

I am glad that chelsea's superstars will be knackered after this.

Well done Nani. Made everyone run around for an extra half hour and ended the younger guy's chances at more experience.

Powell is way younger, I'm sure. At least one and a half years younger. 19 in March!! Quality.

Caught on the counter, fantastic bit of skill to by Hazard to be fair.

I haven't had any issue with Tyler's commentary today. He sounds like he has enjoyed the game.
I can't say I'm a fan, but they're just trundling along with their pre-conceived script. And I'm always proud when we're cast in the role as the big bad team to beat. The day they're waffling on about 'justice' for us is the day I start to worry.

Now, come on and score!

If he hadn't fouled the bloke he'd have scored anyway, he was six yards out.

But it's beside the point, as a club we're supposed to be all about the young players, giving him abuse when he's played his heart out is pathetic.

Both times he fecked up quite massively and looks to have cost us the game for the time being. Surely you can't expect the vast majority of United fans to not be upset with that - especially in the moment.

I love the League Cup as much as anyone who follows the youth teams, but in my mind the standard of what's acceptable doesn't drop. What makes United such a top club is that the same expectations are there regardless of how old you are - even more so in the first team.

Dunno what we were up to on that corner not a soul on the edge of the box...

I ain't tripping, 6 Academy lads on the pitch > having to bring on multi-million pound signing to bail you out.

Powell's positioning was shocking, he was just running forward for the sake of it.

Ah well. Once they scored the equalizer, it was their game to lose. Our lads were knackered. Very proud of the performance though.
