Aston Villa vs. Manchester United

Everything is so static. Valencia near the corner flag forced back to the halfway line

Why is Young is becoming a new target for United fans. Valencia and Scholess have been as bad if not worse then him today.

Watching Valencia keep taking on a man from a standing position is really irritating. What kind of football is there where you rely on your wideplayers a packed defence to do something against and not bother to pass it around productively to open up space?

Valencia is being shown the inside because Villa know he cannot/will not use his left foot to do anything other than turn back outside onto his right. Villa are doing well. It will take a United to goal to get them to come out.

What's happened to Valencia? Lost the will to run :(

He's never been amazing from a standing start. He's at hist best when he's running at people, but there's so little movement and fluency in this team that he's getting the ball delivered straight to his feet.

I am becoming increasingly convinced that many of our players dislike having the ball. No willingness to have it, move it or play it unless they have acres of space.

Scholes has been awful, while we are playing shit again, surprise surprise.

When Scholes is on the pitch we basically rely on our wingers to do everything, and seeing as our wingers seem completely opposed to the idea of actually taking their man on and just want to run backwards instead, we're doing sweet feck all of use.

It's shite, a United winger should be able to beat a man. Either that or should have delivery like Becks.

Valencia can really frustrate me.

This is not going to plan. What the hell?

That's the way we're setup at the moment.
If the wingers don't work, we don't work. Or if the crosses are blocked efficiently, we don't know what else to do.
And our wingers have been rather predictable this season.

Agreed. Hence why I can't understand the dislike of our only winger who can actually beat a man.

Is Tony afraid of this Irish lad or something, feck sake run at the cnut!
