Swansea City vs. Manchester United

I wish Ashley young would stay wider a bit more often, he drifts inside and leaves us with no outlet on the left side at all.

Fergie looks like he's going to erupt.

I love it when we do that... ten seconds left in the half so Carrick ponders on the ball for seven or eight seconds worth of it then passes backwards.

what we need is a player who has lots of style and belief in themselves, even when they are off form. We need a player who will crack one with power from 30 odd yards just because he knows he is that good. In recent seasons we had ronaldo, now nani but nani is the only one like that.

Please don't pass the ball to Valencia if we want to win. What does Welbeck or Hernandez need to do to get into the team? Surely they are not as bad as Val at the moment?

When did they become right wingers?

Carrick good.
Cleverley decent
RVP meh.
Rooney poor.
Young wasteful.
Valencia beyond all normal levels of shiteness, and I'd rather we have a rubber duck on the right wing in his place in the second half, because at least then the opposition might be slightly confused instead of just laughing at his attempts to do the same thing over and over and over again and failing miserably at doing so.

Really good first half. Can't help but admire Swansea for the football they play, and we've had a couple of great performances too. Carrick has been outstanding and Van Persie has looked a class above at times.

Valencia has to be dropped. He's looked like a League One player at best so far this season, today he's been as bad as a winger can be.

Quite a few playing poorly for us, both cbs, the right side and Rooney.

Started really well, got the goal and then they got right back into it.

A few changes in the second if it stays like this for sure. Valencia has continued his poor form and Young hasn't been much better either. No clue what's going on with our wingers as of late. Hernandez surely has to come on if it stays like this.

Can we melt Valencia's brain, please? Seems to freeze every time he gets the ball. Just stands there for several seconds - seemingly hoping for the defender to move out of the way - before passing it back to defence.

Going forward we have done ok without being at our best.

Defensively we've been very poor, the amount of space Swansea have been getting is ridiculous. It was a question of when not if they would score.

Take Valencia off and bring on Hernandez or Welbeck. Rooney needs to improve second half.

Swansea have been impressive.

Why did vidic start when he looks not ready? Why is valencia wasting space on the right? why is rooney having one of those days again? Damn it sort it out quickly

Fergie looks pissed. Valencia has been awful. Sub him off and bring Welbeck on or switch young to right and bring Giggs to left.

not been too bad, but certain weaknesses getting exposed: Vidics lack of fitness, Valencias lack of form, Jones with none of the threat of Rafael.

Swansea are playing well, they deserve credit. Our wing play is awful, Valencia is very one dimensional and Young may as well be at home.

You gotta get Valencia off at this point, he is in wretched form.

When did they become right wingers?

Well, if you don't have a right winger then don't play with one, putting Valencia there is basically an equivalent of reducing us to 10 men.

I'm still confident about this.
Vidič should use this 1st half as a "getting into it" feel for the game.
Rooney should calm down and be more clinical.
Not so sure about Valencia improving much throughout the game.

Still, we're not playing our best football, but we've been creating chances.
RvP and Evra, Carrick as well have been a class above the rest. Let's hope others take note and catch up.

I wish Ashley young would stay wider a bit more often, he drifts inside and leaves us with no outlet on the left side at all.

I agree. Normally I don't mind because it leaves Evra a lot of space to play in but away from home against a team who play this fast on the counter, its a massive risk. It till now hasn't affected their shape that much or given us plenty of chances so time for plan b

We started really well and ended well and were useless in between. We're doing well enough going forward to score a goal or two but we're going torn apart at the back too often.

And Valencia. How exactly does he start every single game for us?

Carrick has been outstanding.

HT:Would have to say Swansea were the better team overall ,after a promising start.
