Berbatov | Fulham player

Didn't even watch the match, but I'm willing to bet hands down that they were badly missing Ruiz. However much Jol tries to talk himself into believing it, Berba is not a number 10. He's a striker with technique and vision. It's not the same thing.

Fuuck  Can't believe he wore that

He doesn't look calm at all.

Seems out of character for Berba to do something like that.

I'd be willing to bet that it was banter among his team mates, and I'd hazard a guess it was Berba going along with someone else's idea.

The only reason we didn't witness his arrogance at United is that he knew SAF wouldn't tolerate it.

Funny. They've been rubbish since Bryan Ruiz got injured.

They've won twice with Ruiz in the team. In one of those matches he played about 30 minutes.
They've just come up empty handed against teams who are better than them. Stoke away, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham. They lack concentration at the back. By far the most goals they've conceded lately are in the 2nd half.

They've won 2 games with Ruiz (and he only entered the pitch when they were already 1-0 up against Wigan), and they've won 3 games without him. They've been rubbish all along.

Won 2 of the 7 matches he's started as opposed to the 4 wins out of 14 Berbatov has started?

Yeah. Since Ruiz got injured they've been rubbish

What's the link between Berbatov flourishing there and Fulham having bad results ? The two aren't mutually exclusive

Berbatov can flourish with Ruiz in the team, thats what generally happened. But if hes a big fish in a small pond with all his teammates beneath him how come he needs others to help him get the win?

That's a bit of a dumb question to ask tbh.He can still play well (Berbatov I mean) but his team will always the same defencies at the back. There's only so much a single player can do.
You would play Messi at Fulham and they wouldn't magically stop other teams from scoring against them

If you're only looking at offence Fulham scored far more goals with Ruiz there with 22 goals in 7 matches. He's set up 5 and scored another 2 which is not much less contribution than Berbatov, despite playing half as much
