It's not that hard to believe given that most footballers don't seem to be able to understand that doing interviews in their home country will still get back to the English press.

Look, one quote is true and one is false but Anderson said both and he's a footballer so they must be lies. Only twitter knows the truth, you should know that by now.
The point is that no one knows if either quote is true, but one might also be completely made up in the first place.

All the websites I've seen are quoting this as something Ando told globoesporte, but searching their website and archives, I can't find the supposed original article. Has anyone actually seen the original quote (in portuguese) on globoesporte, or is this maybe one of those quotes that someone randomly attributes to a foreign press source and everyone else copies?
