This was Fergie's chance to win another treble. Let's understand that. This official with that one decision potentially just cost us a Champions League trophy. It's disgraceful.

Either way, fecking proud of the team and the fans. We were the better side by a distance. I'll be feck off all week and consider commiting murder if anybody winds me up, but yeah, we can kick on from here and win the FA and League. We'll be back, fecking you can count on it.

Can't believe the ref, our game plan was working to perfection, we didn't have the possession but we were definitely causing them more problems then them us. Ridiculous decision, clearly no intent.

I thought we could have made a change quicker after the sending off, looked to me that we were really disorganized and you could see that it was only a matter of time. But end of the day we got screwed.
 
Well I feel we had quite a good game tonight, the ref robbed us with that red card of having a fairer competition but we also just wasted too many good chances.

Won't say anything against Madrid because apart form he usual Arbeloa and Ramos they didn't pull any stupid antics or got too dirty, not really their fault that the ref is a total Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime.

He should never be allowed anywhere near the Utd job.The way his assembled mercernaries were outperformed speaks volumes about the man's ability to be Utd manager.
 
I'm not one to blame refs for ruining games ,but that decision was a disgrace.

absolutely fecking robbed there. all credit to united, can't really have asked any more of them, knew it was all but over at the sending off though.

at least we can concentrate on the league, that was always the one we needed this season.

Please. We were doing fine. We had the game exactly as we wanted it. Madrid have been having horrible problems against teams playing defensively against them all season.

AND we could have brought our best player in and have gone for the throat.

Nothing to do with team selection.

In a lot of games, that wouldn't even have been a free-kick. Great efforts by the boys. "Robbed" sounds like typical fans' knee-jerking stuff but we were robbed of deserved victory there.
 
We were fantastic tonight, everyone played brilliantly. Giggs is ridiculous, Welbeck worked his arse off, Nani was his old self. It was a fecking injustice and a twat of a referee that lost us that game. Not our tactics, the player selection or performance, that cnut with the whistle was at fault. The fans too sounded great. Everyone on our end deserves praise for tonight which makes it so gut wrenching that it was something out of our control to has cost us.
 
We were winning this until the ref decided to become a fecking bastard.

Fair play to their keeper, made a few good saves

Shithouse of a ref. The match was nicely balanced until that decision. Nani was causing them all kinds of trouble and after he went, our best attacking option was gone. fecking disgrace and sad to go out like that.
 
Proud of our team, the lads were awesome! Nothing can be done about the ref.
 
If not for Diego Lopez we would have won that too even with 10 men...mad.
