"I think it's set up for Manchester United to underline the dominance they have had all season. Other than letting in a few early goals before Christmas, they have been exceptional.
"Roberto Mancini, more than any City fan perhaps, could do with a result tonight. It's tough to say City have gone backwards because what you are doing there is diminishing Manchester United's performance so far this the season. I think you have to examine it more closely than that.
"It's been too difficult for City to muster the same fireworks that they created last year and United have just rolled on relentlessly, picking up clean sheets, winning the game and moving onto the next one and City have not been able to cope with it."
