RvP isn't on the bench from what I see.

Man Utd: De Gea, Evra, Ferdinand, Rooney, Smalling, Vidic, Carrick, Young, Welbeck, Valencia, Fellaini

No RVP?

What's happened to Nani? Signed a new contract and hasn't been seen since, but not actually heard what his injury is. Assuming he has one.

Stop embarassing yourselves lads, you're like a bunch of children.

"VAN PERSIE OUT! NO NANI! OMFG MOYES IS SHIT WELL DONE CONGRATS CITY ON YOUR WIN!'

Grow up.

Nice lineup. Rooney is in awesome form.

We'll be fine if Rooney has a good game, he's basically the only creative footballer we have on the pitch.

Yeah, I am more concerned about creativity from the wings than about van Persie missing tbf.

I think Welbeck will be playing behind Rooney, but they'll switch positions of course. Young on the left and Valencia on the right as rigid wingers.

I swear you'd think Fergie was still picking the team with those lineups. Can't remember the last time I saw a line-up and thought "feck yes". There's always this one or two uninspiring players who are in the starting team.

We just cant ever play these with a full team, its like a written law, a key player must be out. Young starts again

That's almost literally the exact line up I'd expect Roy Hodgson to pick if he was United manager. Still, hope for the best.

Nani has had very little football, so it would be wise not starting him today. He has signed a new contract so there is nothing to worry about.

Will start against Liverpool on Wed

He's on the bench, Young's been picked ahead of him.

What's the bench?

Hate to moan but really didnt want to see Young today.

Seriously, how does Young consistently get playing? He's been dreadful. Get Nani or Januzaj (yes I realise he was never going to start this game) on instead.

Young deserves to be picked ahead of Nani, mainly because Nani has been out with injury and has had only 30 minutes against the Scouse. Also Young has been in decent form over the last one and a half match.

Subs, Amos, Evans, Hernandez, Nani, Cleverley, Kagawa, Buttner
