Premier League Sept 28-30

Reckon Newcastle will win this. It's just the type of thing Newcastle do.

fecking embarrassing how the media never question the utter fecking moron in the dugout. Neville defending him again there, fecking abysmal pundit same as the rest of them.

It's odd thing I've noticed too. Sky will never question the manager. Not sure why.

Yeah, let's see if Martinez can go more than 7 or 8 games without his back four imploding before we get too excited, eh?

Flirting several seasons with the relegation and finally getting down isn't a sign of being a good coach. Wigan's style of football exposed them a lot. I would never call that good coaching.

Barry was an inspired signing too. He looks excellent in this side, he must have something about him to have played as many games as he did for City in the past few years.

Just for the record, Wigan finished 16th, 15th and relegated under Martinez. Including a season with the worst ever GD in the history of the PL (-42) and the most ever goals conceded in a single game (9).

Just throwing that out there. You know, facts and stuff.

Looking at that shit record, playing "nice" football means feck all.

Martinez's record at Wigan is horrendously overrated, he actually made them statistically worse then Bruce. He just got away with it because he played nice football. He also comes across as a massive prick.

He has, admittedly, made a fantastic start at Everton though.

Selective facts omitting the 100% bigger wage bill spent by Moyes and Martinez winning the FA cup (which probably cost them their PL place).

Better players at Everton for him to work with and maybe he asked too much from the players. Won the FA Cup though, didn't he?

Wigan League finishes Pre-Martinez - 10th, 17th, 14th, 11th

With Martinez - 16th, 16th, 15th, 18th

Every single Newcastle cross I've seen has been overhit.

Hate it when these PA announcers have to tell a crowd show their appreciation.

If this Newcastle team who have hardly tried an inch tonight get anything from this game....
