This is one of the reasons their pressing works so well: The man on the ball for Man Utd has no obvious options for a lay off 9 times out of 10. The three lines are too far from each other. Defence, midfield and attack are rigidly seperate like on a fussball table. We need to push up and make the pitch tighter.
