Jesus, it's really not been that bad. And we certainly finished the half the stronger side

Two mistakes. Two goals. Nothing much in it apart from that.

Nani for Welbeck please. Push Rooney back forward and Kagawa back behind him

Whats frustrating me is that RVP's injury provides the perfect chance to play Kagawa off Rooney. Yet he's been shoved to the left and Welbeck's playing :wenger:

He's been shoved to the left? He got mom on wednesday for playing in his best position. fecks sake.

Thought we played pretty well, just a couple of defensive brainfarts and Valencia having the most frustrating afternoon imaginable.

Wasn't that bad as reading this thread would suggest..
The team still looks unbalanced though..

Poor start but grew into it.

This game really is here for the taking. Come on boys!

Welbeck and Evra hasn't played good. Smalling has offered feck all attacking wise, I feel sorry for Valencia having to play with him.

Valencia our best player in the first half, while Rooney has played great too.

They're rubbish and the game's for the taking but seriously, our team needs a fecking grip. That Jones' behaviour prior to Evans' foul that lead to the goal was just cringeworthy, absolutely no focus from him. Amount of times Tom's been dispossessed today is a midfield criminal and got to say that both Kagawa and Danny look pretty poor. Rooney show again it seems.

Evra's having tough times on his flank as well, Smalling hoofing it as per usual, solid defensively but give him a ball and he's losing his head.

take welbeck off, push Kagawa back into the centre.

Valencia is poor.
Cleverley takes no responsibility in midfield.
Moyes needs to step up.

Thought we played well. Valencia has been good down the right, but his crossing has let himself down a bit.

Will take that half. Hopefully we can step up second half. Need someone to actually play left wing as well.

Put on nani for welbeck around the 60th minute he's not doing much. Rafael for smalling around then too to increase our attacking threat, should be enough for us to win it.

Welbeck and Valencia both need to be replaced. Nani and Januzaj on

We really need a creative midfielder.

Giggs made everything click the other night. He got it to Kagawa in dangerous positions and Kagawa got our wide men going.

Cleverley can't do that, so Kagawa is anonymous and we end up punting it wide and long from deep. Anderson for Cleverley would be a good sub right now.

Welbeck and Kagawa getting in each other's way at the moment and neither seem to be playing wide. That needs to be sorted at half time because everything is coming from the other side at the minute and Walker is a liability for Spurs.

We've been decent. Unfortunately we don't have the creativity from the central areas, our passing has been poor.

Get Welbeck off and get Nani on. Kagawa in behind Rooney.

That will happen, around the 60th minute mark.

I don't see what Spurs have done really positive in the game thus far. They look like the away side. We desperately needed the goal cause we can throw games away as we've show a number of times this season, but we are easily the better team.

Entertaining half - I don't think we've been bad at all despite what most are saying here. We look very good in the build up with Valencia, Rooney, welbz and kagawa all involved. Struggling to create clear cut chances but I think welbz staying up with rooney should help that.

Quite happy with Jones and Cleverly - Jones is matching his natural enthusiasm and athleticism with a lot more polished product - the difference in his movement and passing from last year is amazing - he's clearly been learning from Giggs/Carrick. Cleverly has had a few mares for me so far this season and got a lot of flack but he's keeping things ticking over nicely.

Nani for Welbeck - surely? I don't think he has even made one useful pass in that entire half. And that's when he has actually touched the ball.

Not feeling it from Cleverley at the moment. Just seems to exist...his head is down a lot, the balls aren't going through, the urgency isn't there.

Don't agree with Welbeck starting this one at all especially with Nani being a threat midweek.

Other than that can't complain. Jones atoned for his error and both goals were shite.

stick Welbeck to the left, or replace him for Nani... its annoying to watch Kagawa again on the left.

moyes and his weird commands... this game is totally winnable.

Evra also needs to watch it... Lennon have been doing whatever he wants.

Jesus, it's really not been that bad. And we certainly finished the half the stronger side
After conceding the first goal(out of no where) we were a bit overstretched but after that and before the first goal utd were much better. Passing has been good as well.
