...but the dippers are nowhere to be seen. Even Leeds make it above them (I'm sure Marchin' will have something to say about that to Softie).

From Red News:

Latest UEFA European rankings have us as third out of every team on the continent.

1.Real
2.Bayern
3. United
4. Barca
5.Lazio
6.Valencia
7.Parma
8.Arsenal
9.Juve
10.Chelsea

The funny thing it is all done by a points system with points awarded for how well you do in European competition each season. Despite their bleatings about a plastic treble, the Scousers actually got less points - (17.571) - last season in the UEFA Cup than we did for getting to the Qtr's (18.571). The Scousers are 19th, Leeds 14th. city don't make it on to the list.

Parma <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

What the feck have they done recently

It's done on the performance of each club in European competitions over the last five years + half (I think) of the club's country's coefficient.

its a load of pants i tell u!

theres so many yollks like that coming out, eaach saying something different about every team

Well judging on last 5 years it should be:
United best team in England.
Real best team in Spain.
Juventus best team in Italy.
Bayern best team in Germany.

Others: also rans ;)

I can't understand how the feck Chelsea came close to that list. LFC shouldn't be anywhere near it, so they got that right. They've had one good year, and haven't finished higher than 3rd or 4th since the 1800s. Plus, they're boring.

Boring, Boring Liverpool!

fecking watched a LFC match a while ago cuz I had insomia.

It is a load of shit, do not forget that allthough Bayern are the most popular team in Germany. They are not the Man Utd of Germany they are the Liverpool of Germany because they play the same uninteresting boring shit usually.
They are a good side but not nice to watch as they try to kill the game (in European games) (and usually succeed)They play "feckball" like Liverpool do,but Manchester United need fear none of them we have got the best squad in Europe. Let's do it Guys.....

It's just the number of coefficient points each team has picked up over the previous five seasons.

It's a good guide to the consistency of form for those clubs that play in Europe.

Not at all, previous to this season, look at what they have done. More points. Better form.

Bayern is a shit in comparision with United in everything but statistics.

Last five years, united won 1 CL, but bayern won another, and more recently. And they have been in two finals, and united only one.

Unfortunately, stylishness or courage can´t be measured: because of that, there are so many italian teams in that list.

Unfortunately Snatcho, results speak for themselves.

But no doubts about the top team in the list: in that point, statistics are right.

Bugger off!

You're going to have a shock on Wednesday! :D

Especially if you play like you did tonight. ;)

Did Raul touch the ball after his little dance with it in the first five minutes? <img src="graemlins/wenger.gif" border="0" alt="[Wenger]" />

Can't see you scoring at Old Trafford TBH. :p

Raul didn't quite look right did he tonight? It was one hell of a risk to play him too.

We celebrate Saint George's day in Cataluña and England on Wednesday. Will we both be happy with the elimination of Real Madrid?

Probably not, as Juventus are going to do the same to them the day before. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />
