I can only hope this will precipitate a big signing. Can't think of any other big positives bar some of the chances we created and did not take

We deserved to lose. We only started playing after being 2-0 down.

At least we put in effort though, unlike Newcastle.

last season RVP would have put away those chances. The big difference...

Few players out there need to seriously look at themselves after today's game and the lapses in concentration they had that cost us the game.

I feel like in saying this all the time now, but that was awful. Our home form is not good enough. Who's to blame?

A bit unlucky but we were flat after the adebayor goal. Terrible giveaway for the second and shows why Valencia is not a right back. Proud of the lads for fighting but some of the players are no longer good enough for this team. Its apparent that players like Valencia and Cleverley need to be dropped. Even Chicharito with his appalling first touch was painful to watch. Real kick in the teeth and we are well out of the title race now. It seems CL qualification will be difficult to attain this year if we keep on playing like this.

Wow,

So fecking crap.

Except it almost wasn't. But it was.

Some ridiculous shite reffing there. Two clear penos denied, Rose and Kane both should have been carded in added time.

Shame we only played for about 25 minutes too....

Oh feck off. The cnut of a keeper punched it outside the area the opening fecking couple of minutes, then Young gets dived at with the same keeper with studs two foot high in the air. Absolute disgrace.

I think a top four finish this season is now out of reach. What a fecking depressing start to a new year.

Makes no difference, you think we deserved to win, even if those decisions went our way?

It's so obvious that we need big investment all over the pitch. Left back x 2, right back as cover a couple of central midfielders and a winger. Possibly a centre back as well.
Will we get it?

So much for Howard Webb being biased towards us. The Welbeck penalty was fecking blatant. Shocking decision. The Young one wasn't much better. And then to top it off he buys into the media 'Januzaj dives' shite, and books him when he was fouled, and then ignores that feckhead Kane kicking the ball into row Z. We weren't great, but some of the decisions were fecking shit.
