Why are people putting Lingard in their line-ups, has he been recalled and is back at the club? Don't think he'll be starting this one  I also heard about us bringing Tunnicliffe back from loan, is that any truth to that?
The team isn't far from picking itself due to injuries..

Yeah he's back, and after two sorry defeats on the bounce people naturally want to see something different regardless of how unlikely it is.

I saw people inluding him in possible line ups yesterday. Mentalists!!!

Not to be full of doom and gloom (im not usually) but I dont see him making it here.

Hes been pretty poor for brum recently in the championship. Obviously he started like a house on fire and I wondered maybe there is something there but my first impression still applies with him.

If he wants to have any hope of making it at the top level he needs to be making a more consistent impact at championship level.

Can Lingard be any worse then what we've been getting in the last two games? I doubt it... Plus he would be far more motivated/eager to play then some others... frankly, it's not that absurd of a call to see him feature tonight.

Ah ok, I didn't realise he was back, I wouldn't be objecting to seeing him start in our lineup.

@Decotron how would you rank our wide players currently then in terms of ability/potential? I see it similar to this

Kagawa/ Nani/ Januzaj (kagawa isn't wide but I believe him currently on par with Nani, with Januzaj not quite there, but a higher ceiling)
Young/Lingard (Young again is probably better than Januzaj current ability but only just, and Januzaj roof is higher, as I'd imagine is Lingards)
Valencia (Poorest performer on the wings, won't improve IMO)
Bebe ( BeBe)

Ive been most disappointed in Nani and Kagawa. Given both their respective skillsets/ability they should have done more, especially Kagawa.

Young is a strange one as when he plays it defo helps Evra so improves the teams shape which is very important. Problem is hes also an absolute wearout at times. So its hard to make a case for him overall. He seems prone to bursts of good form as opposed to anytihng consistent.

I think its v easy for Moyes to justify play Valenica as he helps the team far more than the rest defensively. Its also shit reason for playing any winger tbf.

Januzaj isnt a winger either but his talent makes him stand out in the role. Its fine to play him on the right but he really shouldnt be played on the left onfront of Evra as its a recipe for disaster imo. His future is defo in a central role.

So in summary, We need a new winger!!!

Praying Zaha gets a run.

Up and down the side of the pitch from 60 minutes onward? :smirk: :(

In the longer term our exit from the FA Cup will hurt Zaha more than most but for the moment there still exist some opportunities which Moyes should exploit, tonight is such a one i hope. Indeed with all of the contributing factors in play at the minute [wingers injured or wholly out of form, Kgawa's ineffectiveness from wide, Welbeck playing centrally now e.t.c.] it would be verging on the criminal if he did not.

God i hate Poyet. For that reason alone this is a must win.

I've always liked him. Think he looks like Ron Perlman. ....who looks like Will Ferrell in some pics.

Getting tired of saying it but this is a big game. Must beat these useless hoors and get to the final. The FA Cup loss will free up some weekends in the coming month or so, but United have a big schedule between now and May.

From what I've heard he's been one of Birmingham's best players in just about every game he's played for them. Even if you take away his freak-show of a debut he's still notched up 2 goals and 4 assists in 12 games and apparently Lee Clarke is desperate to get him back for the rest of the season.

this on tv?

rumors flying around twitter that RVP is back.

Decent enough lineup. Atleast the Smalling-Valencia axis of shitness is broken.
