Has Moyes forgotten that subs can be used?

Fletcher for Cleverley, feck it Steve Round for Cleverley, anyone for him!

Come on guys, it's a penalty. Cleverley's thigh hits Johnson's thigh; not exactly a glamorous foul, but it is a foul, and thus a penalty. Johnson goes down like a sack of spuds, but it's a foul.

How on earth did he "barely touch" him? He came at pace, and set his weight down on the foot of the Sunderland player. He's honestly lucky to still be on the pitch.

He caught the tip of his toe... if he meant it, he'd have actually stood on his foot.

Cleverly is a disgrace- possibly the worst individual performance I've seen from a man utd player- and it's in a semi final. Just watch his woeful pass Leading to the penalty incident which he was
Also involved in. Then watch the way Johnson went round him just then the weak play and hopping around.

Looks like I picked the wrong season to quit sniffing glue.

Clev actually ran at players. F me are pigs flying??

If this game follows the usual pattern, we're going to conceded another on the break.

Holy...

Is that Sir Alex making his way though the crowd with a steel chair? He's heading towards the technical area, this is like something out of WWE.

Tom Cleverley hasn't had the best of game but he's still going and fair play to him. Don't think there'll be a person in football whose played as many games as him this month.

Come on AN. Everyone has been wondering as to why Cleverley wasn't playing on a regular basis. I think this is the reason why, he is simply poor and should not be an automatic choice for the England squad because there are others simply superior to him and are not afraid to tackle. It would be great if he could make some challenges instead of bottling out of them.

You misunderstand my point. I'm not arguing that Cleverley is a good player or anything... i'm arguing that he should never have been picked to start in the first place.

If he had been sent off for that it would have been an awful decision, he barely touched him, and he didn't do it intentionally.

He stood on his foot and it could have been misconstrued as a late challenge. I have seen yellows for those before on a regular basis. Put it this way, he would have received either a first yellow or second for that type of foul in Europe.

Clev looked so shocked that he had actually done something he forgot to shoot before it was too late.

When you bring on Fletch to add some creativity.
