The Dave had it covered.

Fletcher just won the ball back in midfield.

Can he do that? Is that legal?

It's a trophy
Yeah I know. But the biggest games of our season were surely the season defining league games. This competition will at best give a morale boost.

Our ball retention has to improve. We misplace so many passes and give the ball away through passes a touch heavy way way too often. It's all so ad hoc. Really need a bit more accuracy and composure in our play.

Vidics woman dropping her sandwich everywhere

Good one camraman

what are the possession stats? Get the feeling Sunderland are edging it.

Think I might add Hernandez to my not-good-enough for United list.

Fanboy favorites Rafael and Kagawa have been passing like shit

Oh it would be good to win it, but its being overstated how important this is.

It is the principle to be honest. We have to win this trophy. We are not in a position at the moment to pick and choose our competitions and which to win. This trophy, whether we like it or not is going to give us back some of the pride we have lost over the last few months.

No were fecking not. People think if the opposition have the ball at all we're out played.

Everytime I've looked up they've got into advanced positions and we haven't had the ball. Now, I was eating for the first 20 mins of the game so looked up periodically. My observation was based on that. But its safe to say we haven't had as much attacking presence so far as we'd have hoped but its early still.
