"Juan"

It is getting better
So do you feel the same
You will make it easier on us now
We've still got Moyes to blame
You say...

Juan love
Juan life
When it's Juan need
On the night
Juan love
We get to share it
Never leave us baby if you
Don't care for it

Did Jose disappoint you
Or leave a bad taste in your mouth
He acted like he never had love
And you didn't need to go without
Well it's...

Seems like fete
Tonight
Time to bring you into the light
We're Juan, and we're all the same
You get to
Carry our team
Carry our tean
Juan...

(took longer than I fist envisaged.)

Still cant believe we got him & now with the prospect of Rooney playin out his career at United - feckin great few days for the faithful. Well done Davy Moyes & Woodward..

I hold my breath, but maybe they could be turning things around from all the negativity surrounding us. Fair play lads anyways!

GGMU
80 - 100 million to improve the midfield in the summer and that will happen.

Honestly lads, if someone said to you 18 months ago we'd be signing Robin Van Persie from Arsenal, Juan Mata from Chelsea what would you think?

I'd have run a mile away from them because the fecker talking to me was clearly mental.

Crazy isn't it. Can't wait to see them link up.

Moyes in. Saying exactly what we want to hear RE future signings and Mata being the "first of many" I am now super excited for the Summer! Of course, getting 4th spot is key first...

What a signing, wow.

Though it's gonna be hilarious to see the meltdown on here on Tuesday when Valencia starts on the right while Mata is on the bench

I reckon that's not the real Taylor Swift.

Vidal
Turan
Gundogan

After watching that interview on the United website, a few thoughts of mine.

1. I'm utterly in love with this guy already, and questioning my sexuality.
2. His English is superb, and as many have already says, he comes across as a throughly nice, humble, modest chap. And that post on his website, praising Chelsea and their fans, very classy.
3. The beard
4. De Gea  What a guy. Very touching scenes with that hug, and the texting! Genius Dave. We should now be looking to create our own Spanish Armada, use these guys to recruit the likes of Koke, Saul Niguez and Oliver Torres.
5. The final, and most important point - Juan Mata is a Manchester United player. As in, he plays for us now. He's a top-class player, who used to play for Chelsea, where I assumed he would be for a long time. Maybe move to Madrid, Barca, PSG for big money. But no, now he plays for us. It's going to take a few days for that to sink in fully (like it did with RVP). What a lift this is going to be for everyone associated with Manchester United

I was going to do this but couldn't be arsed

I have to say I'm delighted that the little magician has signed. As I said in the transfer thread this is a very cantonaesque signing and I really feel that this is the start of a new phase for the club.
What has has said about the chelsea fans etc is brilliant and to be honest doesnt happen often enough it shows just how humble he is.
And then just want to add to what others have said David De Gea you are a bloody ledge :)

I am so excited about the lift that Mata is going to bring to the whole squad and club that I can see us doing pretty damn well in the CL (yes I know he is cup tied but its the energy that he is going to bring to the club)

That we'd cracked inception. In fact after Mourinho's press conference yesterday, I'm pretty sure we have.

Admittedly I'm jealous. Mata is a level above Cazorla, but just below Iniesta. Hopefully, there won't be enough games where Mata Rooney and RvP play togehter uninjured. And Moyes, obviously.

SO beautiful!

Walks into our handsome 11 easily

Januzaj left, Rooney through the middle, Mata right. Tuesday can't come soon enough!

edit: Actually Kagawa left, Mata middle, Januzaj right behind Rooney.

He didn't say his best season was on the right, he said it was playing behind the striker:
What do you think is your best position?
First of all playing! [Laughs] I love to play. I think I can play in the three positions behind the striker. I played on the left when I arrived at Chelsea, this season I have played on the right and last season, which was probably the best season of my career, I played behind the striker. But it doesn't matter as long as I play.

That's not what he says.

Yeah, I was gonna point that out. Key thing however is that he says it doesn't matter, he can play well anywhere in attacking midfield.

In England we get overly hung up on this stuff about positions. Ozil played behind the striker for Madrid mostly sometimes wide and is playing wide mostly for Arsenal. Silva can play behind the striker but operates mostly from the left drifting inside. Mata has the technical ability to do just the same and be decisive so long as we give him the ball and support him with passing options.

I agree mate.

Class act he is. Great letter to the Chelsea fans, fully explaining his motives, feelings and emotions. It was always clear that he was leaving Chelsea because Mourinho didn't see him as an important player for Chelsea so I guess we have to thank the circumstances. I just hope he stays with us for longer than 3 years and experiences more enjoyable moments so that after his stint with us finishes, we would occupy a bigger part of his heart than his time with Chelsea (no matter how gay it may sound to some people).
