Fluke goal from a free kicks that wasn't and both centre backs injured. feck our luck this season.

Ha ha, played pretty well in terrible conditions, but have had shitty luck with the goal and injuries, and the usual wankers saying we've been shit. Why don't they just kill themselves.

Everton and Spurs losing...good thing we're losing too or their position might be in jeopardy.

Just really unlucky I suppose. Losing players left right and centre. Honestly concerned for jones but why is he so injury prone?

Carrick was disappointing with that wall. As a senior player you'd expect him to lead by example and put his body on the line. That was soft.

Clearly we are a bit disjointed still with this new formation and players coming back from injury. But moyes is either unlucky or just doesn't have what it takes to sort out this squad. In fairness to the attack, every time we play at Stoke the conditions have been dogshit. It's a disgrace of a stadium/venue and the faster they go down the better.

RVP Rooney and mata I think all could have done more. Mata keeping it too simple at times. I'm sure it will come but He seems to be looking for the easiest option each time

Tired of M.Carrick, not his first own goal this season, wtf is he doing right there....

If we don't get all 3 points here today then the season is over as far as I'am concerned.

The season is over for feck sake we are playing for fourth place at best.

Foul that Smalling give away that led to their goal was no different than the foul on RvP in their box. Joke.

I thought the same.

It's a cursed, wretched season. Everything's gone against us in this game, much like the season.

Terrible football, we're shit at maintaining any sort of possession or having patience to create a chance. Let's get it down the wing and pump it to the 6'4 Stoke CBs specifically bought to cater to that type of football seems to be our gameplan. Even then we've left our player best suited to that type of thing on the bench in Januzaj.

What has happened to Carrick the poor bastard? Went from being our most influential player to giving 2 needless goals in nearly as many games. Come on lad, if theres a time when we've needed you to step up and become a Scholes type player, its now.

And about the wing comment, the players look up and see 11 Stoke players stood in front of them. What else is there to do apart from play it out wide? We still lack the cohesion of the big 3.

Storming as feck, 2 CBs out and a defelcted goal. We can't buy any luck at all. fecking hell....Carrick pisses me off as well. Grow some bollocks.

Mata as a right winger is a bit shit from Moyes.

If we actually kept hold of the ball he could get into the game a bit more. Our forward players are running around like headless chickens chasing long balls. They'll be knackered before the end of the game.

Front four are just doing nothing other than knocking it sideways or losing it. The disruption losing both Evans and Jones probably means this game is dead for us.

I can't see that midfield and chemistry-less front four doing anything. Young unfortunately isn't a threat at all.

Shite luck. We didn't play badly but didn't exactly excel in creative play either.... we were just feeling our way into the game when we got sucker punched, and then Jonesy :(
Now they'll just park the bus.

What do we do to get out of this hole lads?
Very often this season has felt like some kind of handicap match - no luck with decisions, injuries, shite goals conceded... :(

So much shite from commentator here on Mata, saying he's had an awful start at United. Ffs he's only played 1,5 game.

At least with Carrick at CBhe might actually find someone with one.

Carrick is so fecking overrated it's getting to be a joke, I feel sorry for Mata having gone from playing with competent cm's to the shower of shite we have at Utd.

Having been rushed back from injury is arguably some mitigation, and there wasn't even a dire need for it either.

Stoke aren't playing much football out there. But that's besides the point.

We look rusty in attack for obvious reasons. So much potential but it needs time to click. However one of the most frustrating things about us this season is the lack of reaction when we're losing. We've had opportunities to crank up some sustained pressure but we just aren't overwhelming them anywhere near as much as we can. Time's wasting and we've got to turn this around. We're rarely gonna get these chances to close the gap on teams above us.

Watching Cleverly and Carrick try to pick out a forward pass is painful. Neither have the balls to actually evade a defender and run with it either. That's why it's so easy for our players to get pressed.
