Olympiakos vs. Manchester United

Valencia really showing his skillset there as he drops a shoulder and feints past one before using a step over to get past the next and whip a good cross in.

Said no one ever.

Valencia is awful though, in basically every game. Young has been decent so far and had a few good games for us so his criticism isn't warranted.

hey, I'm not going to defend Valencia! But at least Young has shown some improvement and shouldn't automatically be said to be shit when he actually has a decent game.
Valencia is just sad at this stage :(

It's almost criminal to have Rooney and RVP upfront but then set up like this as show such little quality in deliver.

This team reminds me of AC Milan these days.

The same old due to a lack of investment in recent years.
We have spend around 180m on transfers in the last 3 years. I am sure that Milan haven't done it in the last 10 years together. Basically the only similarity between us and Milan is that we both were great times who plays on red shirts and now we both are shit. For completely different reasons though.

Valencia's crossing is none league stuff at the moment, why do we insist on playing him wide? if it's for his defensive work then put fecking evans in there he'd still give you a better cross.

Moyes so boring. Learns nothing. Sets up team in same way as always, goes to wings. WHy not play kagawa...we dont need to play both valencia and young.

Sticks to a plan that has not been working.

In a couple of weeks we have to play City and Liverpool in this form. Just think about that for a second.

Looks like Carrick is playing in a 1 man midfield again. Clev...are you even a footballer?

It was such a smart decision to play our strongest line up against Palace and now have to rest 2 of the best performers that day for Cleverley and Valencia.

I cannot decide if we play better football than Bayern or not.

Young probably been our best player so far, not the first time this season it's been a decent performance from him. He still fails to inspire but been better than Valencia - tonight and all season.

League is our bread and butter.

This has to be Moyes' fault... How can he keep picking Rio, Cleverley and Valencia... He may have inherited these players but he is picking them on reputation now.

It's typical of us all season. Just aimlessly passing the ball around, everyone waiting for someone else to do something. Very little to no invention of spark. Just so bleuh! Almost paint-by-numbers. Rooney and RVP again showing as much chemistry as a ransacked science lab.

Would be really interesting to hear what exactly Moyes was thinking playing Mr Touchline as a tucked in winger while having Kagawa on the bench.

I'm so tired of David Moyes.

This is dire football it really is. Is there nobody seated close to moyes to give him a bollocking and let him know how stupid and obvious his mistakes are? Doubt he'd listen, with him being a stubborn Scotsman thinking his long ball tactics is the way forward.
