Bundesliga 13/14

Wow, Bas Dost ... isn't this the guy who scored 30 in the Eredivisie a couple of seasons ago?

And this Ladies and Gents is the beauty of the Bundesliga.

If you ignore the all dominating Bayern for a second, you will see that every decision in the league bar the title race (relegation, fight for the international competitions) is a very close affair. You get tons of games on eye level, which are often back and forth and extremely hard to predict.

The only other team besides Bayern, which is capable of pulling ahead of the rest would be Dortmund, which is dragged down by injuries this year.

De Bruyne bottles a free shot at Neuer. Literally side-foots it to Neuer. They don't want to score a second goal, do they?

This is the most entertaining conference I've seen in a long time. Wow, top-class goals left and right and Wolfsburg really pressuring Bayern like bloodhounds.

Can't help anybody who doesn't love the Bundesliga for an afternoon like that. Breathtaking tempo.

Lahm, Kroos and Ribery completely ineffective today. Wolfsburg might score any minute if Bayern don't wake up.

Thiago on for Shaqiri, don't know why. He was at least trying to make something happen. Mandzukic for Kroos.

That was a brilliant free-kick by Bayern. Shame that Robben channelled his inner Anichebe.

Thiago has such a brilliant feeling for the ball. Already made more happen than Lahm and Kroos combined since he came on.

Jesus, Lahm can hardly play a straight pass today. I've never seen him play this badly.

MÜLLER!

The man is just phenomenal.

Brilliant assist from Thiago.

Thiago is outstanding, his touch is phenomenal.

And lo, he now served up Mûller brilliantly to put them up 2-1.

And Game over. Its a shame, Wolfsburg would have deserved a point there.

Games like this make me say that Thiago is better than Kroos. While Kroos is brilliant when everything around him is working well, he just can't turn around a game when the team is struggling like they are today. Thiago comes on and just makes things happen.

And Mandzukic makes it 3:1. Phew.

Lahm finally out for Martinez. Very weak performance.

4:1, Ribery. Wolfsburg breaking apart. They really don't deserve that, but Bayern is ruthless.

This whole game shows Bayern Munich´s role in the Bundesliga, though. Wolfsburg fights bravely and runs their lungs out, but in the end the substituted Thiago and Mandzukic turn it around. How do you fight a team, who can throw fresh players of that quality on the field anytime when things are not going their way, which is already rare to begin with?

Müller is second best in all European leagues when it means away scorerpoints (goals + assists)

I'm not surprised. He's there when called upon. You don't need to be able to dribble past 3 defenders and blast in goals from 25metres every week to be worldclass.

Robben *swoon*

@Mel_F your prediction is holding up. I can see Bayern scoring another goal, though. Wolfsburg threw away the game.

30 goals to go, 10 more games. I think we can make it 100 this season .

Now a great safe from point blank range by Neuer. Wolfsburg are trying so hard, but it just won't work out.

However, if they keep this level, I see no reason why they shouldn't make the CL.

Bayern is a machine right now, I hope we can avoid you guys until the CL final.
The same is true for Real . We had this conversation before, a CL final Bayern - Real would be brilliant.

Oh and 29 to go. Müller

Make it five! Mueller, again. Robben *swoon*   Why did we ever get rid of him? :(
