No that bad a half ,sealed of by a good feekick ,like to see one more from open play.

People complaining that the fans are showing support for moyes :wenger::lol:

It's gotten embarrassingly bad on here at times. Fair enough if you want the manager out, I do, but I'm happy when he's doing well and want him to succeed. Some of the posts on here about Moyes have an element of pure hatred about them, it's baffling, especially when we're winning.

Dull game considering what we're up against. Expect better really.

What are these appalling decisions? You'll probably say loaning Lukaku, but I don't agree. I think that was a relatively good decision. And if they had to sell Mata in order to buy Matic and Salah, then I'd say it's a good decision.

Not getting in a striker and slagging the ones you do have off constantly all season? Allowing David Luiz to live?

Not doing too badly. But it's really awful to feel that I actually don't give a feck at all about this match. Haven't felt so detached from a United match for ages.

It's worse than that, I won't name names but you have a fairly large set of posters who post the same negative comments over and over in every thread.

It's beyond venting or debate it's just bizarre

Remind me, who is Robbie Mustoe? He's appeared on my American stream.

Mata and kagawa really have a good understanding going between them. Januzaj's form has dropped off recently.

I didn't notice either of them much, except for Mata's goal. Actually, Fellaini's been easily the most noticeable player in the first half for one reason or another. Would like to see the three you mentioned more involved as they can potentially tear the Newcastle defence apart.

Not getting in a striker was a mistake, but you'd expect his current strikers to be doing better than they have done. Stagg in his strikers off isn't a mistake. It's pretty clear what he's doing there. He's making it so the media narrative is focused upon their lack of a decent striker and how that's the cause of their lack of silverware, rather than pinning any blame on himself.

Newcastle are there for the taking today. Apart from that header by Cisse, they haven't really bothered us much. Even our makeshift right back has had an easy time of it so far.

TBF its a dead rubber for both teams so the poor quality is to be expected.

It would be nice though if the players would realize that fans paid a lot of money to go to the game and raised their level.

In saying that we shouldn't be praising a man who should have been sacked months ago? Yes.

Exactly. The guy has no right to be in charge of the club. We are the reigning champions yet languish in seventh fecking place.

The fans singing his name reeks of nothing more than them trying to keep up the pretence that we are somehow better than other clubs.

Sing about the team/players blah blah blah, but he doesn't deserve praise for performing like a fecking amateur.

This is a good point mate.

Terrible first half other than the last 5-10 mins. Losing the ball in the middle as usual and a complete disconnect between defence and midfield. Just lump up to the runners who usually time thier runs wrong.

Mata has been missing until the goal and getting control over the game. Evra is once again proving to be past it.

I'm hoping for a proper whip up at half-time and a bit more purpose to the game.

Fairly dull game, not much happening bar the goal and the chances for Hernandez and Cisse. Long parts of the game where nothing was happening at all. They look very laboured and there for the taking but we need to step up our tempo as well.

Think Kagawa was been our our best player so far. We need to step it up in the second half though. We're ahead only because of a freekick, albeit a classy finish from Mata.

Exactly how I felt about it, it was annoying but I couldn't run and I was afraid of a cnut stepping on it. Several times after I thought it healed, I re-injured myself.
It's bad because every single pass or shot can re-injure it.
