Everton vs. Man United

Remember when Eagles scored that beautiful goal to make it 4-2 right about now?

God, those were the days.

We absolutely dominated possession in the 1st half. Yet, our 4 attacking players couldnt break down the Everton defence, that doesnt have anything to do with Carrick and Fletch. And blaming Carrick and Fletch for lack of pace is just daft, one should know what to expect from the players you pick. If you want pace and mobility in CM, you dont pick Carrick and Fletch.

We dominated possession of the ball in the first half (not the game) while playing at a snail's pace.
Who do you propose he picked today?

Everton could have come out guns blazing and probably outpassed us if they really wanted to. They knew though, that we take ages to get the ball forward, are pretty physically weak/easy to shrug off the ball with the three behind Rooney. So wait for us to lose our shape, and expose Carrick and Fletcher's lack of pace and the fullbacks.

Like I said, my opinion - Add even someone like Aaron Ramsey (who isn't even in the top bracket of midfielders) and his ability to go past a man, cover ground quickly, move forward, try a risky pass would make this side function so much better.

Commentator- you would be expecting United to pick up the pace and have a go at it.

Neville - the worrying thing is, this is it, this is all they've got.

Two shots at goal so far. One on target, one off target. This is an absolute horror show and we have shown no stomach for the fight in the second half.

Surely this has to be it for Moyes. This game was always going to be highly symbolic as an indication for United's future prospects under Moyes. Tactically and motivationally this has been totally unacceptable.

We look like conceding every time they go on the counter attack.

One has to wonder how on earth the Glazers still don't know they've got the wrong guy in charge. It must be obvious that the players don't even give a feck anymore.

Rooney's quick thinking and quick feet in action there

When they attack it's like a blue wave, if you can imagine such a thing.

This has been one of Everton's easiest games of the season. They haven't even had to press us. Just sit back and wait for us to feck it up.

Every time Rooney gets the ball - they surround him --> take the ball --> counter and then look like scoring.

How can soooooo many members of a squad look out of their depth?

Blaming DM might just get a few of them another season but sooner or later Carrick and Co. need to go!

I actually think he'll be sacked after this. I think there's a real chance. More than at any other point this season, this feels like a tipping point. But maybe it's just wishful thinking.
