Manchester United vs. Norwich City

Defence wise, not surprising. Rio and Vida deserve a proper send off and get a few games before the end of the season, because they are both United legends.
just because they are legends doesn't mean they deserve to play. For me id be playing smelling to give him more game time and see if he has a future for you guys, jones in the middle too.

Will people stop asking if there are injuries to certain players just because they are dropped, look at the bloody bench!

Mata and smalling both on bench, not injured. With Mata, young and nani on bench threes no room for januzaj, that's what happens when you have a massive squad and only 2 injuries

More nonsense from Yorke saying Giggs should get the job permanently. He has "all the attributes" apparently. Despite the little attribute of never managing a game in his life

I'm happy with the lineup. Hopefully Kagawa is in his favoured position and will come to the party.

Mata was poor last week. Seems like Giggs isn't as afraid as Moyes to leave big names on the bench.

We are playing their subs bench? :D

 Sorry. Added starting XI too..

BTW just saw this tweet :

Yeah, go away idiot. Don't want fans like you.

Disappointing line up for me. I really thought I would see Mata and Januzaj today. Not surprised about Fellaini and Cleverley to be honest. Rest of the line up also not so surprising.

Damn, no Mata?? He has not been that bad.. Or is it an injury? Nevertheless, glad Kagawa and Welbeck are playing. Arguably United's most underrated players giving the role the have played the last couple of years. Good lineup nevertheless. We played what fans taught was a great lineup against Everton and we were ineffective going forward. So I am not complaining about the team Giggs put out today as long as they are a cohesive unit.

One thing for sure is that Giggs is not trying to imitate Moyes .

Hes not a fan its a joke. Why would a utd fan have garethe bale in his Twitter handle?

This shit about Mata being bad against Everton is hilarious. He did an excellent job of what we know he is best at - keeping the ball.
Excellent job? You must have watched a different game then. I lost count of amount of times he lost the ball.

That doesn't sound too tactical from Giggs, does it? (Welbeck scored against them earlier in the season, Rooney scored a hat trick)

And it is a 442 - he just confirmed it.

Roof is going to blow off the place when they come out.

Nothing Yorke ever says as a pundit makes sense.

Giggs' reasoning behind the selection was that he wants us to get off to a fast start, which isn't really a reason to leave Mata out. Also mentioned Kagawa's hatrick last season and Danny's goal earlier in the season.

I think the players will be overhyped and score 2 goals before half time and the crowd exploding. If I were Moyes I would go somewhere where they never hear of football, because this is going to be huge and his career is pointing 90 degrees down.

All these "pundits" who are saying Ryan Giggs is the right man to take the job now are the same who all said David Moyes was a "great choice".

He's not afraid to drop names on the bench ? Then why is Rooney starting when he looked like a pub player last week ?

I don't have much problem with the selection. Except that it should be Hernandez instead of Rooney and Smalling instead of Ferdinand. And I'd line them up in a 4-5-1 and not 4-4-2, but formations are dynamic anyway.

With Ashley Young and Nani on the bench and Valencia/Welbeck playing you can see straight away that Giggs want's to play with traditional wingers. I guess under Giggs that leaves Mata, Kagawa, Adnan and Rooney fighting for that one number 10 spot...
