To be fair Dortmund didn't had Mata and Rooney.

Periera has stalled as of late. Rooney cannot play the #10 position, he isn't creative enough or has the touch to play there, its painfully obvious. Has januzaj even played that role for the first team yet? Hes so much better playing as a wide man. When was the last time Kagawa played in the hole for us?

Perhaps you're right, but I doubt that's the only reason. He's been pretty poor for us nonetheless and while I loved watching him at Dortmund, he's been such a disappointment for us at United.
 
Since we brought on Carrick we have looked a lot better. Shows how important getting a centre midfielder or two this summer is.

If Mata plays as our number 10 then Kagawa is useful on the left, as shown by them linking well in the games the past couple of months. I still wouldn't get rid of him, not before the likes of Young and Valencia.
 
If Evra would accept a lot less playing time, I'd much prefer retaining him and selling Buttner. It's a shame if he's off after this
 
Shaw being outstanding again. To think some people complain they dont see whats special about him

Rooney have served us as no 10 for quite some time. Periera was magnificent against Liverpool U21. Januzaj can do the job at no 10 and Mata is a superior player to Kagawa
