The official Liverpool forums wanking over some tweets saying Van Gaal has rejected Utds approach for Vidal and Liverpool are in the driving seat for him.

I know the chance of that happening is low but feck me it would be frustrating.
May be they read this crap

I can see it happening, I dunno why, there's going to be a player moving there this summer that is really fecking good because so far, their signings have been good/average, nothing more.

Plus Pool will surely have to keep the fans happy after selling their best player, in the form of his life? Vidal would have them all giddy.

I can't.

Liverpool don't have the financial power to pull that signing off. He'll want atleast 200k to sign. Will Liverpool offer?

Nope.

No it was an actual tweet saying pretty much what i put, it was from Football Sources or something.

They are also wanking over the "I'm not going to Manchester" quote which was false to begin with. Cretins.

Bullshitter.

Oh and by the way, I was in the bath listening to TalkSport an hour or so ago and Andy Mitten spoke live from the US. He said that we are most probably in for defenders now and that Van Gaal said something about us having an "unbalanced squad" with "too many no.10s".

I am sure most of you know this though.

Mitten was extremely positive, said he reckons we'll spend more money for sure.

Who is their highest earner then? Wasn't Suarez on that kind of wage?

Liverpool are surely going to make one marquee signing. They have shitloads of money and Champions League.

They would be seriously stupid to adopt Spurs tactic of buying ten players, where one might be decent.

Can't see it happening to be fair.

Liverpool have just sold their best player and have replaced him with average/good players. What exactly can Liverpool offer him? One season of Champions League football? Because unless they win it this upcoming season, which is slim to none, then i don't see Liverpool making the top 4 next season, which means no CL football.

Sorry to be the one millionth person to ask this, but how do you embed tweets? I have a moderately interesting one.
Just click the time on the tweet at the top (the time that counts up how long ago the tweet was posted) and then simply post the URL in from that page into the post

160 k/week. He only stayed one season at that wage. They made remy take a pay cut. All of their buys have been on low wages.

Remy's on 80-90k per week according to every Liverpool reporter.

Suarez was on that wage because he is a top5 player in the world. Vidal isn't.

I hope you're right mate, I really do. I think we're all getting a bit overconfident about them not getting big name players though, hope it doesn't come back to bite us in the arse.

I suppose whilst they have the small shit hole which is Anfield, they'll struggle bringing in the kind of cash ourselves and Arsenal do.

Can't see us leaving the midfield as is. Not if Anderson/Fellaini leaves.

Carrick is 33 now, and Fletcher, as sad as it seems, probably won't ever reach the levels he was before his illness. I think we'll most likely sign another CM and then concentrate on defenders, maybe getting another winger too. I can see us spending quite a bit more, but i can also see us selling a lot of players too.

We all know we're going to spend more money, there's no question about that. The only question is whether the players we're thinking of bringing in are of a high enough quality. Blind, De Vrij etc. are not exactly top class players (useful as they may prove to be), and they won't be enough for us to challenge for the title next season. Not to mention they'd be a huge anti-climax after all the talk of splashing the cash this summer.

They have spent
can - 10 million
Lallana - 20-25 million
Lambert -5 million
Lovern - 25 million (expected to sign)
Remy - 8 million
Origi - 10 million
Markovic - 20 million
Manquilo - loan

That is roughly 100 milion spent on transfers . You have to take into account their wages. They have already spent shitloads, they are going to sign bertrand too and have loaned manquillo for 2 years. I dont know how much can they spend on a marque signing.

Isn't there? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we signed no one else.

Origi hasn't signed yet, has he?

Really? We have 3 CBs, all of whom are injured constantly. You think we'd be comfortable going into a season with 3 sicknotes at CB, and no backup at LB? 5 defenders in total (6 if you count Valencia)? Come on. Of course we're going to buy more players.

All logic would dictate that surely we must sign a few more players. But then again, logic would dictate that we would have adressed the midfield issue at some point in the past 5 years. Basically, when it comes to United transfers, all logic goes out the window.

Any of Reus, Vidal and Pogba would cost in excess of £50m (they're who all the dick heads on the Liverpool forums reckon they're getting), so they blow their entire transfer budget even if they get one of those players their defence is still shit.

Quantity was never the problem at CM. There's absolutely no way we'd go into a new season with just 5 proper defenders, most of whom are constantly injured. I'd bet my life on it.

I hope you're right, thats for sure.

City don't mind signing players who are so-so about signing for them do they? I'm glad United make sure the player really wants to play for us before we make movements.

Apparently their transfer budget was £60mil plus whatever they got for Suarez so thats about £140mil together, if your prices are right it would mean they have another £40mil if needed. Possibly not enough for Vidal but you never know.

God that Liverpool forum is annoying by the way, they believe every no mark tweet about us and are pissing themselves about "yet another big name turns us down this window", who has turned us down from credible sources?, the only one i can think of is Di Maria and even then it was because of lack of Champions League.

It was a tweet saying talksport are saying united are close to cuadrado for 27.5 million. Its been deleted by the person who made it. I never wum , transfer Serious business for me.
Where would he play if we are playing 3412???
