I can never understand these figures. Surely the vast majority of those jerseys were bought by supporters who would have bought one regardless of whether they signed Rodriguez or not. If they hadn't signed him they would probably have gotten a jersey with Kroos, Ronaldo or Bale on the back of it instead.

I wish Vidal had said "only god knows my future", then it would definitely have been on.

That would be a clear lie on his part as he is clearly enamoured with the idea of playing for Manchester United.
He knows his future is at old trafford.

They have spent
can - 10 million
Lallana - 20-25 million
Lambert -5 million
Lovern - 25 million (expected to sign)
Remy - 8 million
Origi - 10 million
Markovic - 20 million
Manquilo - loan

That is roughly 100 milion spent on transfers . You have to take into account their wages. They have already spent shitloads, they are going to sign bertrand too and have loaned manquillo for 2 years. I dont know how much can they spend on a marque signing.

Lovren is costing us £20m and Origi £6m rising to £10m. We'll probably end up selling Lucas, Agger and Reina all of who are on massive wages. We've also taken Aspas and Alberto's wages off our books. Assaidi and possibly Borini to follow. Wage-wise we're fine and there should be more than enough to make a big signing should the right player become available.

Any of Reus, Vidal and Pogba would cost in excess of £50m (they're who all the dick heads on the Liverpool forums reckon they're getting), so they blow their entire transfer budget even if they get one of those players their defence is still shit.

Reus is the only one of those three that we need. Our current CM options are fine. We won't sign any of those though.

Same as Spurs when they sold Bale, they have the money to spend but not the pull to sign any real marquee players to directly replace the one they lost, so they go with the scattergun approach and hope one of them hits.

This is an odd one. He was playing well for West Ham in the first half of the season, a regular too then Fulham made a few bid for him, all of which were rejected and then Big Sam shipped him off on loan to QPR where he did well.

Would be an extremely odd move if he went to Russia, not that I see it happening anyway.

This guy really impressed me in the World Cup, I think he'll be a good buy for Roma.

I'd love us to sign Daley Blind...seen on Twitter he's been linked with Barca.

Isn't COPE usually quite reliable? I seem to remember them breaking the Thiago to Bayern news.

If this is correct, i'd imagine it's a loan to PSG with the option to buy next season. Shame really, as i'd have loved to have had him here.

Wouldn't it be delicious if di Maria turned us down due to lack of CL football then his signing results in a CL ban for PSG?

The next in a long line of promising American youngsters who move to Europe before they're ready and stall their development. Unfortunate.

This matter of hours thing is surely something lost in translation, or a common saying somewhere. We read too much into the hours part I think.
It's not like it's the next couple hours, more like days right?

Cope are the most reliable outlet i've come across in Spain
