Yep i can see him carrying Liverpool for 2 seasons before joining either you lot or Chelsea. You can tell he is the type who wants to be back in London.
Maybe Arsenal won't be big enough for him, la.

For England they will be because we sell are best players to the manc clubs.Barkley and Sterling will be a deadly combination I suppose.![]()
Expect them to get another 15+ penalties this season with him in the team.I think Sterling will have a big season. I really like the look of him apart from his hair and fannyish running style.

Was going to put that point in myself...it does help with headless chickens lunging at you in the box yes.Only if he comes up against donkeys like Jones every week.

Anyway good luck Pepe, hope you do well in the future.
I noticed haha. I also noticed how not a single one of em' has mentioned Gerrard picking the ball up cause' he thought he was fouled..Herrera is also getting ripped to shreds over at RAWK. They keep banging on about it only being a pre-season friendly, yet Herrera is shit based on that game.![]()
"Good enough for Bayern, not good enough for us"Even Bayern fans can get a chuckle out of rawk. It's about Pepe Reina joining Bayern for 2 million quid because Pep wanted a 2nd/3rd keeper in case both Starke and Neuer get injured like last year:
Never saw any of the game - reading through this thread and the match report is all I have to go on.
Sounds to me like an understrength Liverpool coped admirably with an almost full strength United for an hour -ish.
Then errors and loss of concentration began to creep in and simple principles were neglected defensively and United scored 3.
Nowt much more needs to be said in my view.
No bearing whatsover on the coming Premier League programme.
Looks a brilliant player, could by a big player for the Euros.I think Sterling will have a big season. I really like the look of him apart from his hair and fannyish running style.

The season hasn't even started and the Louis Van Gaal thread on RAWK is already 123 pages long. Almost 5,000 posts.Lol the season hasn't even started and this thread is already 35 pages long!

The whole team was in fairness, but I thought he was very good against Italy and it was against Uruguay he struggled. Either way, when one of our highlights was a 19 year old he must have done something right. He's brilliant when it's going his way, but was bereft of ideas and initiative when playing in Brazil. He had a lot of chances and opportunity against Italy and ran out of ideas of how to get past a very average Italian defence.

The second half against Italy was dire, as was the rest of the tournament. My only point is that he isn't ripping up trees in the national shirt.

If anyone has shown they're not ready fro success it's slippy g and his mates down the road as proven by their balls up last year!"Deluded to think they are ready for big success"
Yeah its like last 25 years we haven't had any success at all.
That magic word potential.Anyone who can't see that Sterling has bags of potential is a plank.
Spuds and Tim Nice but Dim must be gutted.Anyone who can't see that Sterling has bags of potential is a plank.
It's not just potential though, he's already performing at a very high standard for Liverpool. His football brain is already miles better than Nani's ever was or will be, imo.
he reminds me of Aaron Lennon - used in a more fluid attacking team which suits his style of play better.

his raw pace means he doesn't necessarily need to be a football genius - simply run at defenders who invariably dive in or can't cope - if he plays on the shoulder he won't be caught by most defenders.

Aye, even if he stayed at his current level, he'd still be brilliant. He's 19 though and there's no reason why he won't keep progressing.
