Finally got to see the kind of team LVG is trying to build, and I have to say, it was very impressive indeed. Not just the performance, but the manner in which we played. Far to many times over the past few years the players (mainly the old guard) look like they're being forced to play at gunpoint, and would rather be anywhere else but on the pitch, trying to get through it with as minimal effort required. Today though, every single player looked like they were loving it out there, and giving 100% throughout. Looked to have a real team spirit about them as well, with Mata, Di Maria, Rojo and Herrera forming some sort of bizzare love triangle already

Anyways what were people's thoughts then of the LVG's United?

One more performance like that should spell the end of the past eighteen months of sub-seventh teams coming to OT and having a go.

On the one hand it was only QPR but the way the players kept their shape and made their runs was nice to see. Like many posted, it looked like they'd been at it as a unit for ages. Proper coaching and all that jazz.
