Chelsea XI to face West Brom: Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Costa
WBA XI v Chelsea - Foster, Wisdom, Dawson, Lescott, Yacob, Baird, Gardner, Brunt, Dorrans, Sessegnon, Berahino

City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany (C), Demichelis, Clichy, Navas, Fernandinho, Toure, Nasri, Jovetic, Aguero
Swansea X1: Fabianski, Rangel, Bartley, Williams (C), Taylor, Ki, Carroll, Sigurdsson, Dyer, Montero, Bony

Chris Baird at LB? You'd think Willian or Hazard (whoever plays that side) will have fun against him.

Strong team, but our record vs West Brom isnt good in recent seasons only winning one of the last 5 drawing 3 and losing 2.

Six games starting at the same time and no 12.45 kick off? feck off.

EDIT: Just seen that West Ham are missing Sakho, Valencia, Downing and Song, whilst playing Carroll and Cole up top. I'd be surprised if Everton don't win.

Ambitious much?

Win today and we could be in fourth place at the end of the day.
And Newcastle could be on equal points with us if they win against QPR and Swansea, Arsenal and West Ham all lose to City, United and Everton, which isn't beyond the realms of possibility. Alan Pardew, football genius .

5 goals conceded at home in the last 13 games by Chelsea and 3 of the 5 came in that one game against Sunderland! A very good defensive record that.

great :-)
Costa...

Costa is just a fantastic goalscorer. Huge reason, if he stays fit, that Chelsea will win the title. One goal behind Aguero in the chase for the golden boot.

Seems today is a day of chest control before you score,Afroman likes this.

They will claim the league 3 games before the end of season or sooner. They are a level above the rest of PL this year, mainly through consistency.

Chelsea are unstoppable, you have to admire the way they recruited they identified where they needed strengthening and went out and got them.....unlike us that did the exact opposite.

Season already over in October as far as top is concerned.

almost the second.....
I need at least a 3 goals cushion against WBA.

If only Ben Foster would have figured out how to deal with crosses, he would have been a special goalie. Reflexes are top notch

Chelsea look like they're going to score about 4 today

Hazard just casually cutting through the WBA defense there.

BBC said:
  • 15:10 Diego Costa is wearing gloves up front for Chelsea - where it is apparently 14C. Practically summer!
He's not worked up much of a sweat so far, slow start from the Brazilian Spaniard.

  • 15: 11 GOAL Chelsea 1-0 West Brom - Diego Costa
Commentators charm.

Costa was probably offside
