I was just browsing WhoScored.com, and noticed this table, designed to measure which teams win the most aerial duels per game in Europe's top 5 leagues (England, Germany, Spain, France, Italy).

As you can see, 16 of the top 20 teams are from the Bundesliga. I find that rather amazing, and i'm guessing that the ball spends an awful lot of time in the air in this league? Or does it?

What's your thoughts on the reasons behind this stat?

The same goes for Dribbles per game too. I just think their experts on the Bundesliga are a lot more friendly to giving out statistics than the others are. 10 out of 20 teams with the most dribbles per game are from the Bundesliga, which is an absolute obliteration of their competitors.

Barcelona are 11th, behind Paderborn, Schalke, Wolfsburg etc etc etc. They have to be doing great in terms of dribbling/aerials anyhow, but maybe not as great as the figures says.

I've seen Messi get some outright crazy successful dribbles count for him where he skips inside of the full back(not beating him dribbling at all), then runs in front of the entire defense without challenging any of them and passes to Neymar on the other side and it all counts as dribbles.
